Abstract
A new and distinct cultivar of Clematis spp. plant named ‘Violet Lampion’ is described, characterized by large, abundant purple flowers with two blooming seasons. Flowers produce durable seed heads with an attractive “fluffy” appearance. The new variety is a Clematis , normally used as an ornamental garden or landscape plant.
