Abstract
This invention relates to a new and distinct everbearing variety of raspberry plant named ‘VR-16.004-68’. The new variety is primarily adapted to the growing conditions of the central coast of California and is characterized by the following: mid-season primocane production with large sized fruit of light-red coloration. Fruit is of consistent long conic shape, releases very easily from receptacle, is glossy and possesses good flavor. Foliage is flat to slightly concave, medium green, possessing weak rugosity, weak gloss and is always 3 foliate. Primocanes have an absent or very weak waxy coat and are densely covered with long dark red prickles.
