Abstract
A new and distinct Malus domestica Borkh apple tree variety named ‘CIVM49’ is particularly characterized by resistance to scab. The tree has a very precocious bearing and medium vigor with high and constant productivity. The fruits are very attractive with uniform brilliant deep red color which covers the 80% of the surface. It has a very high eating quality, the flesh is crisp, juicy and tasty with high sweetness and medium-low acidity. Excellent storability and shelf life. Ripening time: 10/15 days after Gala.
