Abstract
A new and distinct cultivar of hibiscus plant named ‘DUP-GFTH’, characterized by extremely compact growth, glossy, dark green leaves of reduced size relative to standard exotic hibiscus varieties, strongly upright growth, and large flowers having a glossy dark rust red eye which extends about 30 percent of the petal length, sharply margined against a zone of purplish-pink which extends to roughly the midpoint of the petal and grades into a pinkish-beige zone which grades to a bright straw yellow edge having highlights of cantaloupe orange.
