A new and distinct Vanda cultivar named ‘SPCDW1404’ which is characterized by the combination of a dark purple general tonality of the flower with a pronounced deep purple spotting pattern of both the sepals and petals, with undulating margins of both the sepals and petals, as well as the stability of all characteristics from generation to generation. The new variety is a Vanda , typically produced as an indoor ornamental plant.
