Abstract

A new and distinct variety of nectarine tree which is denominated varietally as ‘Bunecttwentyeight’ is described, and which further produces an attractively colored, firm-fleshed, clingstone nectarine, which is mature for harvesting and shipment approximately June 16 to June 27 under the ecological conditions prevailing in the San Joaquin Valley of central California.

Having thus described and illustrated our new variety nectarine tree, what we claim is new and desire to secure by Plant Letters Patent is:

A new distinct variety of nectarine tree, substantially as illustrated and described, and which is characterized principally as to novelty by producing an attractively colored, non-melting, yellow-fleshed, acidic flavored clingstone nectarine which is mature for harvesting and shipment approximately June 16 to June 27 under the ecological conditions prevailing in the San Joaquin Valley of central California.
