Abstract

A new and distinct Hemerocallis cultivar named ‘R5’ is disclosed, characterized by its excellent landscape performance, resistance to daylily rust, deep red flower color, with a yellow throat and white wire line margin. Plants have long scapes and dark green, evergreen foliage. The new variety is a Hemerocallis , normally produced as an outdoor garden plant.
