Hibiscus plant named ‘DUP-PPP’

Abstract

A new and distinct cultivar of Hibiscus plant named ‘DUP-PPP’, characterized glossy, dark green leaves, upright habit appropriate for container production and culture; very free flowering habit; large flowers lacking a distinct eye zone, and instead, having a glossy, cherry pink center which extends up the staminal column as well as out into the flower body, where it meets a velvety strawberry-red zone which extends to the edge of the flower. The glossy pink center zone extends along the rays through the body to roughly 1 inch of the petal edge. The strawberry red body lightens slightly at the petal edge, and bears, along the outer inch (roughly) a sprinkling of white spots.
