Hibiscus plant named ‘DUP-WHDX’

Abstract

A new and distinct cultivar of Hibiscus plant named ‘DUP-WHDX’, characterized by glossy, dark green leaves, semi-upright habit appropriate for container production and culture. It is relatively late to bloom, and thus particularly appropriate for growing as a standard or patio tree. The plant has a freely flowering habit, and a very large flower having a bright red eye, margined with a narrow iridescent whitish blue ring zone, which is margined with a watercolor orange body which extends to the edge of the bloom, said body containing a pumpkin orange branching venation which can extend to the edge of the bloom.
