Abstract

A new and distinct cultivar of Hibiscus plant named ‘DUP-HCHP’ characterized by glossy, dark green leaves, very upright habit appropriate for container production and culture, freely flowering habit and large to very large flowers having a dull dark red eye which extends to one quarter the diameter of the flower, with the body being a medium red with white veins extending to two thirds the flower diameter. The edge of each petal is ruffled, and the petals shallowly overlap, giving the effect of a windmill.
