A new and distinct cultivar of Salvia named ‘ULTRA VIOLET’ that is characterized by compact habit, many flowers, small green leaves, and deep-purple flowers with dark calyces. In combination these traits set ‘ULTRA VIOLET’ apart from all other existing varieties of Salvia known to the inventors.
