Abstract

A new and distinct variety of strawberry ( Fragaria×ananassa ), which originated from seed produced by a hand-pollinated cross between ‘Winter Dawn’ and FL 99-35. The new strawberry, named ‘Florida Radiance’, is distinguished by high December through March production of fruit that are large, firm, glossy, and resistant to anthracnose fruit rot when grown in west central Florida or other areas that have a subtropical climate similar to that of west central Florida.
