Image handling apparatus, image processing system, image process controlling method, and image process controlling program product
Abstract
An image handling apparatus is disclosed, including an operation panel, hardware resources, a transferring part, and an image generation controlling part. The transferring part transfers image handle information input at the input screen to an external apparatus. The image generation controlling part receives and parses image generation information for at least one of the hardware resources to execute an image generation based on the image handle information, from the external apparatus in response to an instruction of the image generation, so that at least one of the hardware resources executes the image generation.
Claims

1. An image handling apparatus, comprising:
a display;
a scanner to scan an image of an original sheet to obtain image data; and
processing circuitry configured to:
send a request to a web application of a web server;
receive screen data sent from the web application in response to the request;
control the display to display, based on the screen data, a scan condition setting screen to input at least one scan condition for scanning the image using the scanner;
send the at least one scan condition to the web application;
receive instruction data including an execution instruction for scanning the image using the scanner from the web application, the instruction data generated by the web application according to the at least one scan condition; and
control the scanner to scan the image based on the execution instruction.
2. The image handling apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry is further configured to
receive an input of a destination in which the image data is to be sent, and
send the image data to the destination.
3. The image handling apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry is further configured to send a scan execution request to the web server in response to a press event of a start button.
4. The image handling apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the screen data is in HTML.
5. The image handling apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry connects to the web application via HTTP.
6. The image handling apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry sends the request to the web server when the image handling apparatus is powered on.
7. The image handling apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the image handling apparatus is a multifunction peripheral (MFP) device.
8. An image handling system, comprising:
a web server including control circuitry that executes a web application; and
an image handling device including:
a display;
a scanner to scan an image of an original sheet to obtain image data; and
processing circuitry configured to:
send a request to the web application;
receive screen data sent from the web application in response to the request;
control the display to, based on the screen data, a scan condition setting screen to input at least one scan condition for scanning the image using the scanner;
send the at least one scan condition to the web application;
receive instruction data including an execution instruction for scanning the image using the scanner from the web application; and
control the scanner to scan the image based on the execution instruction, wherein
the control circuitry of the web server is configured to:
send, via the web application, the screen data to the image handling device in response to receiving the request;
receive the at least one scan condition from the image handling device;
generate, via the web application, the instruction data according to the at least one scan condition; and
send the generated instruction data to the image handling device.
9. The image handling system according to claim 8 , wherein the processing circuitry of the image handling device is further configured to
receive an input of a destination in which the image data is to be sent, and
send the image data to the destination.
10. The image handling system according to claim 8 , wherein
the processing circuitry of the image handling device is further configured to send a scan execution request to the web server in response to a press event of a start button, and
the control circuitry of the web server is further configured to send the instruction data to the image handling device after receiving the scan execution request from the image handling device.
11. The image handling system according to claim 8 , wherein the screen data is in HTML.
12. The image handling system according to claim 8 , wherein the image handling device connects to the web application via HTTP.
13. The image handling system according to claim 8 , wherein the processing circuitry of the image handling device sends the request to the web server when the image handling device is powered on.
14. The image handling system according to claim 8 , wherein the image handling device is a multifunction peripheral device (MFP).
15. An image handling method, comprising:
controlling, by processing circuitry of an image handling device, a scanner to scan an image of an original sheet to obtain image data;
sending a request to a web application of a web server;
receiving screen data sent from the web application in response to the request;
controlling, by the processing circuitry based on the screen data, a display to display a scan condition setting screen to input at least one scan condition for scanning the image using the scanner;
sending the at least one scan condition to the web application;
receiving instruction data including an execution instruction for scanning the image using the scanner from the web application, the instruction data generated by the web application according to the at least one scan condition; and
controlling the scanner to scan the image based on the execution instruction.
16. The image handling method according to claim 15 , further comprising:
receiving an input of a destination in which the image data is to be sent; and
sending the image data to the destination.
17. The image handling method according to claim 15 , further comprising sending a scan execution request to the web server in response to a press event of a start button.
18. The image handling method according to claim 15 , wherein the screen data is in HTML.
19. The image handling method according to claim 15 , further comprising connecting to the web application via HTTP.
20. The image handling method according to claim 15 , wherein the sending of the request to the web server is performed when the image handling device is powered on.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
