Abstract
Provided is a polymer film containing at least one of a compound represented by formula (1) of hydrates, solvates, or salts thereof. Y is a methine group or nitrogen atom. Q a , Q b , and Q c are a single bond or a divalent linking group. R a , R b , and R c , are hydrogen atom, alkyl group, alkenyl group, alkynyl group, aryl group, cyano group, halogen group, or heterocyclic group. X 2 is a single bond or a divalent linking group. X 1 is a single bond or a predetermined divalent linking group. R 1 and R 2 are a hydrogen atom, alkyl group, alkenyl group, alkynyl group, aryl group, or heterocyclic group.

1. A polymer film comprising at least one kind of compounds represented by Formula (1), hydrates of the compounds, solvates of the compounds, and salts of the compounds wherein the compound represented by Formula (1) has a molecular weight of 200 to 2000:
wherein in Formula (1), Y represents —N—or —C(-Q d R d )-; Q a , Q b , Q c , and Q d each independently represent a single bond or a divalent linking group; R a , R b , R c , and R d each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group, a cyano group, a halogen group, or a heterocyclic group, wherein R a and R b are optionally bonded to each other to form a ring, or R a and R d are optionally bonded to each other to form a ring; X 2 represents a single bond or a divalent linking group; X 1 represents a single bond or a divalent group selected from a divalent linking group G 1 :

(in each formula, the side indicated by symbol * is a bonding site to the nitrogen atom introduced into the pyrimidine ring or pyridine ring in the compound represented by the each formula; and R g represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group, or a heterocyclic group); and R 1 and R 2 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group, or heterocyclic group, wherein R 1 and R 2 are optionally bonded to each other to form a ring, provided that compounds in which only one of Q c -R c and —N(X 1 R 1 )X 2 R 2 is —NH 2 and compounds in which Y is a nitrogen atom, both Q c -R c and —N(X 1 R 1 )X 2 R 2 are not —NH 2 , and -Q a -R a is —NH 2 are excluded.
2. The polymer film according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one kind of compounds represented by Formula (1) are added in the form of hydrates of the compounds, solvates of the compounds, or salts of the compounds.
3. A polymer film comprising at least one kind of compounds represented by Formula (5-1), hydrates of the compounds, solvates of the compounds, and salts of the compounds:
wherein Q a , Q b , and Q c each independently represent a single bond or a divalent linking group; R a , R b and R c each independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group, a cyano group, a halogen group, or a heterocyclic group, wherein R a and R b are optionally bonded to each other to form a ring; and Ar 1 represents an aryl group,
provided that compounds in which -Q c -R c is —NH 2 and compounds in which -Q c -R c is not —NH 2 , and -Q a -R a is —NH 2 are excluded.
4. The polymer film according to claim 1 , wherein Q a represents a single bond —O—, —S—, —NH—, or —N(R)—, wherein R is an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms; and wherein R a represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, or an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms.
5. The polymer film according to claim 1 , further comprising at least one kind of compound represented by any one of Formulae (IIIe), (IVe), and (Ve) or hydrate of any one of Formulae (IIIe), (IVe), and (Ve), solvate of Formulae (IIIe), (IVe), and (Ve), and salt of any one of Formulae (IIIe), (IVe), and (Ve):
wherein symbols in each formula are each synonymous with those in Formula (1); and Ar's each independently represent an aryl group.
6. The polymer film according to claim 1 , comprising a hydroxyl group-containing polymer as a main component.
7. The polymer film according to claim 6 , wherein the hydroxyl group- containing polymer is a cellulose acylate resin.
8. The polymer film according to claim 7 , wherein the cellulose acylate resin is a cellulose acetate resin.
9. The polymer film according to claim 1 , being formed by a solution-casting method.
10. The polymer film according to claim 9 , wherein the hydrates of the compounds or solvate of the compounds is used.
11. A retardation film consisting of the polymer film according to claim 1 .
12. A polarizing plate comprising a polarizer and the polymer film according to claim 1 .
13. A liquid crystal display comprising the polymer film according to claim 1 .
14. A retardation film comprising the polymer film according to claim 1 .
15. The polymer film according to claim 1 wherein X 1 represents a divalent group selected from the divalent linking group G 1 .
16. The polymer film according to claim 1 , wherein Formula (1) is Formula (2):
wherein symbols in Formula (2) are each synonymous with those in Formula (1); X 4 represents a single bond or a divalent linking group; X 3 represents a single bond or a divalent group selected from a divalent linking group G 1 :

18. The polymer film according to claim 1 , wherein Formula (1) is Formula (5-2):
wherein symbols in Formula (5-2) are each synonymous with those in Formulae (1) and (3); and
Ar i and Ar 2 each independently represent an aryl group.
19. The polymer film according to claim 1 , wherein Formula (1) is Formula (6):
wherein symbols in Formula (6) are each synonymous with those in Formula (1); and Ar 1 and Ar 2 each independently represent an aryl group.
20. The polymer film according to claim 1 , wherein Formula (1) is Formula (7-1):
wherein symbols in Formula (7-1) are each synonymous with those in Formula (1); Q aa represents a single bond or —O—, —S—, —NH—, or —N(R)— (wherein R is an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms); R aa represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, or an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms; R 11 , R 12 , R 13 , R 14 , R 15 , and R 16 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a carbamoyl group, a sulfamoyl group, an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, or an alkoxy group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms.
21. The polymer film according to claim 1 , wherein Formula (1) is Formula (7-2):
wherein symbols in Formula (7-2) are each synonymous with those in Formula (1); R a7 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms; and R 11 , R 12 , R 13 , R 14 , R 15 , and R 16 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a carbamoyl group, a sulfamoyl group, an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, or an alkoxy group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms.
22. The polymer film according to claim 21 , wherein Formula (7-2) is Formula (8), (9), or (10):
wherein symbols in each formula are each synonymous with those in Formula (7-2); and R a8 , R a9 , and R a10 each independently represent an alkyl group having 1 to 8 carbon atoms.
