Abstract

The present invention provides a backlight system, which includes a light source; and a back frame, which includes at least two primary assembling pieces, the at least two primary assembling pieces being joined to form a main frame structure of the back frame; wherein the light source is carried by a first side of at least one of the primary assembling pieces, the backlight system further comprising heat dissipation elements, the heat dissipation elements having a distribution that is denser at locations closer to a center of the primary assembling piece that carries the light source in a lengthwise direction of the primary assembling piece that carries the light source. The backlight system of the present invention forms a back frame through joining so as to make the structure of the back frame simple and reduces the manufacturing cost of the backlight system, and further, through an arrangement that heat dissipation elements are arranged more densely on the primary assembling piece that carries a light source at locations closer to a center thereof in the lengthwise direction, the heat dissipation efficiency and heat dissipation performance of the backlight system are improved.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

       1. A backlight system, wherein the backlight system comprises:
 a light source; and
 a back frame, which comprises at least two primary assembling pieces, the at least two primary assembling pieces being joined to form a main frame structure of the back frame;
 wherein the light source is carried by a first side of at least one of the primary assembling pieces, the backlight system further comprising heat dissipation elements, the heat dissipation elements having a distribution that is denser at locations closer to a center of the primary assembling piece that carries the light source in a lengthwise direction of the primary assembling piece that carries the light source.

       2. The backlight system as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the heat dissipation elements are heat dissipation fins or heat dissipation blocks.

       3. The backlight system as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the primary assembling piece that carries the light source is made of a thermally conductive material and has a second side that is opposite to the first side thereof and comprises all the heat dissipation elements mounted thereon, the heat dissipation elements being integrally formed with the primary assembling piece that carries the light source through stamping.

       4. The backlight system as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the heat dissipation elements are mounted to an aluminum extrusion, the aluminum being fixed to the primary assembling piece that carries the light source, the heat dissipation elements being arranged on a bottom surface of the aluminum extrusion.

       5. The backlight system as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the primary assembling pieces comprise a first primary assembling piece and a second primary assembling piece, wherein the first primary assembling piece has an end forming at least two joint sections, each of the joint sections having a structure mating an end of the second primary assembling piece, the first primary assembling piece using one of the joint sections to join the corresponding end of the second primary assembling piece.

       6. The backlight system as claimed in claim 5 , wherein:
 the at least two joint sections are arranged to space from each other in a lengthwise direction of the first primary assembling piece.

       7. The backlight system as claimed in claim 6 , wherein:
 the joint sections comprise recesses formed in a surface of the first primary assembling piece and having a shape corresponding to the end of the second primary assembling piece for receiving the end of the second primary assembling piece.

       8. The backlight system as claimed in claim 6 , wherein:
 the joint sections comprise recesses formed in a surface of the first primary assembling piece, the second primary assembling piece having a surface forming protrusions at corresponding positions, the protrusions being receivable in the recesses to join the first primary assembling piece and the second primary assembling piece to each other.

       9. The backlight system as claimed in claim 8 , wherein:
 the second primary assembling piece has an end having a surface forming at least two protrusions that are arranged to space from each other in a lengthwise direction of the second primary assembling piece.

       10. A backlight system, comprising:
 a light source; and
 a back frame, which comprises at least two primary assembling pieces, the at least two primary assembling pieces being joined to form a main frame structure of the back frame;
 wherein the light source is carried by a first side of at least one of the primary assembling pieces, the backlight system further comprising heat dissipation elements, the heat dissipation elements having a distribution that is denser at locations closer to a center of the primary assembling piece that carries the light source in a lengthwise direction of the primary assembling piece that carries the light source;
 wherein the primary assembling pieces comprise a first primary assembling piece and a second primary assembling piece, wherein the first primary assembling piece has an end forming at least two joint sections, each of the joint sections having a structure mating an end of the second primary assembling piece, the first primary assembling piece using one of the joint sections to join the corresponding end of the second primary assembling piece;
 wherein the at least two joint sections are arranged to space from each other in a lengthwise direction of the first primary assembling piece;
 wherein the joint sections comprise recesses formed in a surface of the first primary assembling piece, the second primary assembling piece having a surface forming protrusions at corresponding positions, the protrusions being receivable in the recesses to join the first primary assembling piece and the second primary assembling piece to each other;
 wherein the second primary assembling piece has an end having a surface forming at least two protrusions that are arranged to space from each other in a lengthwise direction of the second primary assembling piece; and
 wherein the back frame further comprises a secondary assembling piece and a bracing piece, the secondary assembling piece being arranged in the main frame structure and joined to the main frame structure; the bracing piece being fixed to the primary assembling pieces or the secondary assembling piece, the bracing piece forming a bump.

       11. The backlight system as claimed in claim 10 , wherein the heat dissipation elements are heat dissipation fins or heat dissipation blocks.
