Abstract

A new and distinctive standard carnation cultivar particularly distinguished by its profuse production of large size flowers having a serrated edge. The outer petals are carrot red with delft rose and dresden yellow stripes and a greenish base, the flowers being carried on strong and upright stems.

I claim: 
     
       1. A new and distinctive hybrid standard carnation plant, substantially as herein shown and described, characterized in particular by its recurrent profuse production of very large flowers, the serrated petals of which are in general of carrot red color and the body longitudinally brushed with current red, delft rose and dresden yellow with a greenish base, said plant having more than 120 leaves on a thick stem.
