1. A composition for treating obesity or reducing weight in a patient in need thereof consisting of a therapeutically effective amount of an extract of  Saccharomyces cerevisae  and a therapeutically effective amount of an extract of Silybum marianum.

A method of treating obesity or reducing weight in a patient in need thereof consisting of administering to the patient a composition consisting of a therapeutically effective amount of an extract of  Saccharomyces crevasae  and a therapeutically effective amount of an extract of Silybum marianum.
