Abstract
A new and distinct variety of plum tree producing fruit of reddish coloration which are mature for harvesting and shipment approximately the second week in September in the San Joaquin Valley of central California approximately seven days prior to the fruit produced by the "Roysum" plum tree and which have a pleasing low acid taste with a distinct depression in the suture and good shipping and handling characteristics.
