Abstract

A method, system, and computer program product for implementing data transformation processes is provided. The method includes receiving a request for content including data transformation rules for processing the content. The content is collected by a source system at a first interval. The method also includes accessing a source table that houses the content and determining if the first interval matches a second interval specified in the request. The method further includes applying the data transformation rules to the content if the first interval does not match the second interval. The data transformation rules are operable for transforming the content from the first interval to the second interval.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1. A method for implementing data transformation processes, comprising:
 receiving a request for content including data transformation rules for processing the content, the content collected by a source system at a first interval, wherein the data transformation rules include instructions for converting the content, comprising at least one of:
 aggregating measurements provided in the content;
 formulating a number of measurements as a percentage of another number of measurements;
 calculating averages of measurements;
 calculating means of measurements; and
 calculating measurements for a selected time period;

 accessing a source table that houses the content and determining if the first interval matches a second interval specified in the request; and
 applying the data transformation rules to the content if the first interval does not match the second interval, the data transformation rules operable for transforming the content from the first interval to the second interval.

     2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the selected time period includes at least one of:
 a busy period;
 a time of day;
 a day of week; and
 a peak time.

     3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
 presenting transformed content to a requester.

     4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the content includes raw data.

     5. A system for implementing data transformation processes, comprising:
 a processor in communication with one or more source system tables via a communications link, the one or more source system tables storing content that includes measurements collected from a source system; and
 an advanced routing and trunking application executing on the processor, the advanced routing and trunking application implementing:
 receiving a request for content including data transformation rules for processing the content, the content collected at a first interval, wherein the data transformation rules include instructions for converting the content, comprising at least one of:
 aggregating measurements provided in the content;
 formulating a number of measurements as a percentage of another number of measurements;
 calculating averages of measurements;
 calculating means of measurements; and
 calculating measurements for a selected time period;

 accessing the one or more source system tables that house the content and determining if the first interval matches a second interval specified in the request; and
 applying the data transformation rules to the content if the first interval does not match the second interval, the data transformation rules operable for transforming the content from the first interval to the second interval.

     6. The system of claim 5 , wherein the selected time period includes at least one of:
 a busy period;
 a time of day;
 a day of week; and
 a peak time.

     7. The system of claim 2 , wherein the advanced routing and trunking application further implements:
 presenting transformed content to a requester.

     8. The system of claim 5 , wherein the content includes raw data.

     9. A computer program product for implementing data transformation processes, the computer program product including instructions for implementing a method, comprising:
 receiving a request for content including data transformation rules for processing the content, the content collected by a source system at a first interval, wherein the data transformation rules include instructions for converting the content, comprising at least one of:
 aggregating measurements provided in the content;
 formulating a number of measurements as a percentage of another number of measurements;
 calculating averages of measurements;
 calculating means of measurements; and
 calculating measurements for a selected time period;

 accessing a source table that houses the content and determining if the first interval matches a second interval specified in the request; and
 applying the data transformation rules to the content if the first interval does not match the second interval, the data transformation rules operable for transforming the content from the first interval to the second interval.

     10. The computer program product of claim 9 , wherein the selected time period includes at least one of:
 a busy period;
 a time of day;
 a day of week; and
 a peak time.

     11. The computer program product of claim 9 , flirt her comprising instructions for implementing:
 presenting transformed content to a requester.

     12. The computer program product of claim 9 , wherein the content includes raw data.
