Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1. A cart and removable adaptable shelf apparatus comprising:
 (a) A cart with a telescoping frame and foldable handles rotatably connected to opposite ends of said frame;
 (b) At least one multi-level shelf system adapted to connect between said foldable handles,
 said multi-level shelf system operationally configured to expand or contract in concert with said telescoping frame,
 and wherein said multi-level shelf system is operationally configured to attach to said foldable handles of said telescoping frame at positions ranging from the top of said foldable handles to the base of said telescoping foldable handles;
 (c) When said telescoping frame is fully extended, said multi-level shelf system further comprises a first and second shelf unit that are adapted to fix to one another at facing ends and between and to said foldable handles located at opposite sides of said telescoping frame by a connecting means,
 and wherein when said telescoping frame is fully retracted, said multi-level shelf system comprises a single piece shelf unit configured to fix to said foldable handles located at opposite sides of said telescoping frame by a connecting means.

     2. The cart and removable shelf apparatus of claim 1 wherein said connecting means are in the form of U-brackets.

     3. The cart and removable shelf apparatus of claim 1 wherein said first and second shelf units connect to one another at facing ends by a unit connector, said unit connector comprising a portion of said telescoping frame, wherein said telescoping frame is affixed below said first and second shelf units, and wherein a portion of said telescoping frame underlying said first shelf unit is operationally configured to femininely accept into a corresponding portion of said telescoping frame underlying said second shelf unit, and when so attached, said unit connector being fixed in place with a fastening means.

     4. The cart and removable shelf apparatus of claim 1 wherein said shelf system is in the range of 29 to 53 inches in length.

     5. An adaptable shelf unit system for use with a retractable frame cart, comprising:
 A retractable frame cart comprising a telescoping frame, further comprising foldable handles,
 at least one shelving level operationally configured for use with said telescoping frame of said retractable frame cart and said foldable handles, when said telescoping frame is in an extended position,
 each of said shelving levels further comprising a first shelf unit,
 said first shelf unit comprising a first shelf top and a first shelf frame,said first shelf of said first shelf unit fixedly connected to said first shelf top, said first shelf frame
 of said first shelf unit further compromising two ends, wherein a first end of said first shelf frame of said first shelf unit comprises a fastening means operationally configured to removably fasten to a first side of said foldable handles of said retractable frame cart, and wherein a second end of said first shelf frame of said first shelf unit comprises an end operationally configured to femininely accept a corresponding end of a second shelf frame of said second shelf unit,said second shelf unit comprising a second shelf top and said second shelf frame, said second shelf frame of said second shelf unit fixedly connected to said second shelf top, said second shelf frame of said second shelf unit further comprising two ends, wherein a first end of said shelf frame of said second shelf unit comprises a fastening means operationally configured to removably fasten to a second side of said foldable handles of said retractable frame cart, and wherein a second end of said second shelf frame of said second shelf unit comprises an end operationally configured to masculinely insert into a corresponding end of said first shelf frame of said first shelf unit.
 wherein the coupling of said first shelf unit and said second sheif unit comprise an extended shelf suitable for removably fastening to a first and a second side of said foldable handles of said retractable frame cart,
 at least one shelving level operationally configured for use with said telescoping frame of said retractable frame cart and said foldable handles, when said telescoping frame is in a retracted position, comprising,
 said first shelf unit,
 bracket inserts,
 said bracket inserts comprising a first and a second end,
 said first end of said bracket insert comprising a fastening means operationally configured to removably fasten to a second side of said foldable handles of said retractable frame cart,
 said second end of said bracket insert operationally configured to masculinely insert into said second end of said shelf frame of said first shelf unit.

     6. The adaptable shelf unit system for use with a retractable frame cart of claim 5 , further comprising, a locking means operationally configured to secure said shelving system to said folding handles of said retractable frame when said shelving system is engaged thereon.

     7. A cart and removable adaptable shelf system comprising:
 a.) a collapsible cart with a telescoping frame and foldable handles rotatably connected to opposite ends of said frame;
 b.) at least one shelving level comprising a first shelf unit and a second shelf unit removably connected to one another by a unit connector;
 c.) said at least one shelving level disposed there between said foldable handles of said cart and removably securable to said handles by a connecting means;
 d.) wherein only one either of said first and second shelf unit is disposed there between said foldable handled, and where said shelf unit is secured to one of said handles by bracket inserts.
