An African violet plant named Laurie having purple-pink flower color which is a more intense purple in the center; very prominent and bright yellow anthers which create a very good contrast with the flower color; profuse flowering; vigorous growth habit and early flowering; and long-lasting, non-dropping flowers which form a tight flower head above the leaves.

A new and distinct cultivar of African violet named Laurie, as illustrated and described, and particularly characterized by its purple-pink flower color which is a more intense purple in the center; very prominent and bright yellow anthers which create a very good contrast with the flower color; profuse flowering; vigorous growth habit and early flowering; and by its long-lasting, non-dropping flowers which form a tight flower head above the leaves.
