Abstract

There are provided aromatic heterocyclic polymers having repeating units of the formula ##STR1## wherein R 1 is --H or R 2 is ##STR2## R 3 is ##STR3## and R 4 is R 2 or ##STR4## and B is ##STR5## wherein X is --S--, --O--, or --NH--.
