Pop-up bottle topper

Abstract

A paper, pop-up bottle topper that can be moved between a first position where the bottle topper is in a folded, substantially flat position and a second position where the bottle topper is unfolded into an upright or erect position. An integrated locking mechanism operates to retain the bottle topper in the open position.

1 . A pop-up bottle topper comprising: 
 a collar having a first open end and a second open end opposite the first open end;   a pop-up structure attached to the first open end of the collar;   wherein the pop-up structure and collar simultaneously move between a first, folded position and a second unfolded position;   wherein the second open end of the collar is configured to be placed over the neck of a bottle.   
     
     
         2 . The pop-up bottle topper of  claim 1 , wherein the collar is cone shaped. 
     
     
         3 . The pop-up bottle topper of  claim 1 , wherein the second open end of the collar contains a plurality of slits contained thereon. 
     
     
         4 . The pop-up bottle topper of  claim 1 , wherein the pop-up structure is a slice form. 
     
     
         5 . The pop-up bottle topper of  claim 1 , wherein the pop-up structure comprises a plurality of interlocking pop-up panels. 
     
     
         6 . The pop-up bottle topper of  claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of interlocking pop-up panels have at least one slot thereon.  
     
     
         7 . The pop-up bottle topper of  claim 1 , further comprising a second pop-up structure which is removably attached to the pop-up structure. 
     
     
         8 . A pop-up bottle topper comprising: 
 a collar having a first open end opposite a second open end;   a pop-up structure attached to the first open end of the collar;   wherein the pop-up structure and collar can move between a first, folded, substantially    flat position and a second, unfolded, upright position; and   wherein the second open end of the collar is operable to be placed atop the neck of a bottle.   
     
     
         9 . The pop-up bottle topper of  claim 8 , wherein the pop-up structure is a slice form. 
     
     
         10 . The pop-up bottle topper of  claim 8 , further comprising a second pop-up structure attached to the first pop-up structure. 
     
     
         11 . The pop-up bottle topper of  claim 8 , wherein the pop-up structure contains a plurality of parallel, spaced apart, pop-up panels. 
     
     
         12 . The pop-up bottle topper of  claim 10 , wherein the second pop-up structure is a slice form. 
     
     
         13 . The pop-up bottle topper of  claim 10 , wherein the second pop-up structure is not a slice form. 
     
     
         14 . The pop-up topper of  claim 10 , wherein the second open end of the collar contains a plurality of slits contained thereon. 
     
     
         15 . The pop-up topper of  claim 14 , wherein the plurality of slits contained on the second open end of the collar contain a small aperture at one end thereof. 
     
     
         16 . A pop-up bottle topper comprising: 
 a collar having a first open end opposite a second open end;   a first pop-up structure attached to the first open end of the collar;   a second pop-up structure attached to the second open end of the collar;   wherein each of the collar, the first pop-up structure, and the second pop-up structure    can move between a first, folded, substantially flat position, and a second, unfolded, upright position; and   wherein the second end of the collar is operative to be placed over the top of a bottle.   
     
     
         17 . The pop-up bottle topper of  claim 16 , wherein the first and second pop-up structures are slice forms. 
     
     
         18 . The pop-up bottle topper of  claim 16 , wherein the first pop-up structure is a slice form, and the second pop-up structure is not a slice form. 
     
     
         19 . The pop-up bottle topper of  claim 16 , further comprising a lock mechanism. 
     
     
         20 . The pop-up bottle topper of  claim 16 , wherein the second pop-up structure is removable from the first pop-up structure.
