Abstract

There is disclosed a refrigerator including an evaporator configured to generate cold air; and a grill fan assembly configured to blow the cold air generated by the evaporator to a refrigerator compartment and a freezer compartment, wherein the grill fan assembly may include a freezing fan module configured to blow cold air to the refrigerator compartment comprising a first storage chamber and a second storage chamber and the freezer compartment; a first flow path opening/closing damper configured to selectively block the cold air blown to the first storage chamber; and a second flow path opening/closing damper configured to selectively block the cold air blown to the second storage chamber, and the first flow path opening/closing damper and the second flow path opening/closing damper may overlap in at least predetermined area in a front-rear direction.

Claims

What is claimed is:

         1 . A refrigerator comprising:
an evaporator configured to provide cold air; and a grille fan assembly configured to blow the cold air provided by the evaporator to a refrigerator compartment, wherein the refrigerator compartment includes a first storage chamber and a second storage chamber each set to have different temperatures from each other, wherein the grille fan assembly comprises:
 a freezing fan module;
a first damper configured to selectively block cold air to be provided to the first storage chamber; and
a second damper configured to selectively block cold air to be provided to the second storage chamber,
wherein the first damper and the second damper are arranged such that respective upper surfaces thereof have different inclinations from each other,
wherein a size of the first damper is larger than a size of the second damper, and
wherein a first damper through-hole of the first damper through which the cold air passes is larger in size than a second damper through-hole of the second damper through which the cold air passes.

         2 . The refrigerator of claim 1 ,
wherein the first damper through-hole and the second damper through-hole are arranged to have different inclinations from each other with respect to a lateral direction.

         3 . The refrigerator of claim 1 ,
wherein the first damper is inclined with respect to a lateral direction.

         4 . The refrigerator of claim 1 ,
wherein the first damper is inclined with respect to a lateral direction such that one side of the first damper is positioned higher than the other side of the first damper opposing the one side.

         5 . The refrigerator of claim 1 ,
wherein the one side of the first damper is positioned closer to the freezing fan module than the other side of the first damper.

         6 . The refrigerator of claim 1 ,
wherein the second damper is horizontally disposed with respect to a lateral direction.

         7 . The refrigerator of claim 1 ,
further comprising a first damper cover and a second damper cover configured to cover the first damper and the second damper, wherein the first damper cover includes a first cold air outlet in communication with the first damper through-hole and the second damper cover includes a second cold air outlet in communication with the second damper through-hole.

         8 . The refrigerator of claim 7 ,
wherein a size of the first cold air outlet is larger than a size of the second cold air outlet.

         9 . The refrigerator of claim 1 ,
wherein more of the cold air blown by the freezing fan module is guided to the first damper than to the second damper.

         10 . The refrigerator of claim 1 ,
wherein the cold air passing through the first damper through-hole is supplied to the first storage chamber through a first cold air supply duct, and wherein the cold air passing through the second damper through-hole is supplied to the second storage chamber through a second cold air supply duct.

         11 . The refrigerator of claim 1 ,
wherein the first damper is inclined such that the first damper operation motor faces toward the evaporator.

         12 . The refrigerator of claim 1 ,
wherein a first side of the first damper case on which the first damper operation motor is disposed is positioned farther from the freezing fan module than a second side of the first damper case.

         13 . The refrigerator of claim 1 ,
wherein a first side of the second damper case on which the second damper operation motor is disposed is positioned closer to the freezing fan module than a second side of the second damper case.

         14 . The refrigerator of claim 1 ,
further comprising an ice-making fan disposed at one side of the freezing fan module.

         15 . The refrigerator of claim 1 ,
further comprising: a damper cover configured to cover the first damper and the second damper, wherein the grill fan assembly includes a grill fan and a shroud, wherein one surface of the damper cover is seated on the grill fan and another surface of the damper cover is seated on the shroud.
