Claims
Abstract
A reformer may include a frame extending between a first end portion and a second end portion. The reformer may also include a carriage slidably coupled to the frame, where the carriage is movable along a length of the frame. The carriage is configured to be selectively and releasably coupled to the first end portion of the frame, and selectively and releasably coupled to the second end portion of the frame.

21 . A reformer, comprising:
a frame extending between a first end portion and a second end portion, and having a longitudinal axis extending between the first end portion and the second end portion; a carriage slidably supported by the frame and movable between the first end portion and the second end portion; and a screen rotatably coupled to the frame, wherein the screen is configured to rotate or pivot about a first axis extending generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis in a Z direction, and wherein the screen is configured to rotate or pivot about a second axis extending generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis in a Y direction.
22 . The reformer of claim 21 , wherein the screen is movable from a first position where a surface of the screen is aligned with the longitudinal axis to a second position where the surface of the screen is aligned with the second axis extending in the Y direction.
23 . The reformer of claim 21 , wherein the screen is rotatable or pivotable about the first axis in the Z direction, such that the screen can be seen by a user at a position adjacent the reformer for performing exercises adjacent the reformer.
24 . The reformer of claim 21 , wherein the screen is rotatably coupled to the frame via an arm, wherein the arm is movable from a first position, where a first plane formed by a surface of the screen is generally parallel to a second plane formed by the first axis in the Z direction and the longitudinal axis, to a second position, where the first plane is generally perpendicular to the second plane.
25 . The reformer of claim 21 , wherein the screen is rotatably coupled to the frame via an arm extending between a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the arm is movably connected to the second end portion of the frame, and wherein the screen is movably connected to the second end of the arm.
26 . The reformer of claim 25 , wherein the first end of the arm is movably connected to the second end portion of the frame via a first rotatable joint, and wherein the screen is movably connected to the second end of the arm via a second rotatable joint.
27 . The reformer of claim 26 , wherein at least one of the first rotatable joint or the second rotatable joint is a ball joint.
28 . The reformer of claim 21 , wherein the screen is movable from a third position centered on the longitudinal axis to a fourth position not centered on the longitudinal axis.
29 . A reformer, comprising:
a frame extending between a first end portion and a second end portion, and having a longitudinal axis extending between the first end portion and the second end portion; a carriage slidably supported by the frame and movable between the first end portion and the second end portion; and a screen assembly rotatably coupled to the frame at the second end portion of the frame, wherein the screen assembly comprises a screen and an arm extending between a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the arm is connected to the second end portion of the frame via a first rotatable joint, wherein the screen is connected to the second end of the arm via a second rotatable joint, wherein the screen assembly is configured to be movable from a first position to a second position, wherein in the first position, a first plane formed by the screen is generally parallel to a second plane formed by a first axis extending generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis in a Z direction and the longitudinal axis, and wherein in the second position, the first plane is generally perpendicular to the second plane.
30 . The reformer of claim 29 , wherein at least one of the first rotatable joint or the second rotatable joint is a ball joint.
31 . The reformer of claim 29 , wherein the second rotatable joint is configured to allow the screen to rotate or pivot about the first axis extending in the Z direction, and wherein the second rotatable joint is configured to allow the screen to rotate or pivot about the second axis extending in the Y direction.
32 . The reformer of claim 29 , wherein the screen is rotatable or pivotable about the first axis in the Z direction, such that the screen can be seen by a user at a position adjacent the reformer for performing exercises adjacent the reformer.
33 . The reformer of claim 29 , wherein the screen is movable from a third position centered on the longitudinal axis to a fourth position not centered on the longitudinal axis.
34 . A reformer, comprising:
a frame extending between two end portions, and having a longitudinal axis extending between the two end portions; a carriage slidably supported by the frame; and a screen assembly movably coupled to the frame, wherein the screen assembly includes a screen and an arm, wherein the screen is movable from a first position where a surface of the screen is aligned with the longitudinal axis to a second position where the surface of the screen is aligned with a second axis extending generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis in a Y direction, wherein the screen is movable from a third position centered on the longitudinal axis to a fourth position not centered on the longitudinal axis.
35 . The reformer of claim 34 , wherein the screen is rotatable or pivotable about a first axis extending generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis in a Z direction, such that the screen can be seen by a user at a position adjacent the reformer for performing exercises adjacent the reformer.
36 . The reformer of claim 34 , wherein in the first position, a first plane formed by the screen is generally parallel to a second plane formed by a first axis extending generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis in a Z direction and the longitudinal axis, and wherein in the second position, the first plane is generally perpendicular to the second plane.

The reformer of claim 34 , wherein in the first position, a first plane formed by the screen is generally perpendicular to a third plane formed by a first axis extending generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis in a Z direction and the second axis extending in the Y direction, and wherein in the second position, the first plane is generally parallel to the third plane.
38 . The reformer of claim 34 , wherein the arm extends between a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the arm is movably connected to one end portion of the frame, and wherein the screen is movably connected to the second end of the arm.
39 . The reformer of claim 38 , wherein the first end of the arm is connected to the frame via a first ball joint.
