Abstract

An inflatable enclosure (1) has an inflatable structure (2) comprising at least one inflatable beam (10) and a cover (3) supported by the structure, wherein the cover (3) comprises a longitudinal dimension (3L) for fastening to a corresponding longitudinal dimension (10L) of the beam. An elastic strip (20), which runs along the longitudinal dimensions (3L, 10L), is interposed between the cover and the beam.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 .- 14 . (canceled)

15 . An inflatable enclosure having an inflatable structure comprises:
at least one inflatable beam; and a cover supported by the inflatable structure, wherein the cover comprises a longitudinal dimension for fastening to a corresponding longitudinal dimension of the at least one inflatable beam, and wherein an elastic strip, which runs along the longitudinal dimensions, is interposed between the cover and the at least one inflatable beam.

16 . The inflatable enclosure according to claim 15 , wherein the elastic strip is tensioned in a transverse direction once the elastic strip has been assembled with the at least one inflatable beam or with the cover.

17 . The inflatable enclosure according to claim 15 , wherein the at least one inflatable beam comprises a flexible casing enclosing an inflatable tube, and
wherein the flexible casing is connected to a flexible flap at a first end thereof.

18 . The inflatable enclosure according to claim 17 , wherein the elastic strip is assembled with the flexible flap in a region that is close to a second end of the flexible flap and opposite the first end for fastening to the flexible casing.

19 . The inflatable enclosure according to claim 15 , wherein the cover and the at least one inflatable beam have removable assembly means.

20 . The inflatable enclosure according to claim 17 , wherein the cover and the flexible flap are connected by a zip fastener.

21 . The inflatable enclosure according to claim 17 , wherein the elastic strip is fastened in line with a fold of the flexible flap.

22 . The inflatable enclosure according to claim 15 , wherein the elastic strip is a woven elastic strip.

23 . The inflatable enclosure according to claim 15 , wherein the inflatable structure comprises two parallel arch-shaped beams supporting the cover, and
wherein each arch-shaped beam is fastened to the cover by interposing an elastic strip therebetween.

24 . A method for assembling an inflatable enclosure having an inflatable structure comprising at least one inflatable beam and a cover supported by the inflatable structure, the method comprising:
fastening the cover which comprises a longitudinal dimension to a corresponding longitudinal dimension of the at least one inflatable beam, wherein an elastic strip, which runs along the longitudinal dimensions, is interposed between the cover and the at least one inflatable beam.

25 . The method according to claim 24 , wherein the elastic strip is sewn together with one of the ends of the cover or of the at least one inflatable beam so as to tension the elastic strip in a transverse direction thereof.

26 . The method according to claim 24 , wherein the elastic strip is sewn together with the end of a flap integral with the at least one inflatable beam, thereby forming a fold in line with the elastic strip.

27 . The method according to claim 24 , wherein the elastic strip is sewn using a twin-needle sewing machine with fixed spacing.

28 . The method according to claim 24 , further comprising assembling the cover and the at least one inflatable beam by means of a zip fastener.
