Abstract
An exercise device includes a base, a weight unit and an operating unit. The base has a seat assembly disposed thereon. The weight unit is disposed on the base and includes at least one weight block. The operating unit includes a connecting assembly, an operating rod member and a cushioning member. The operating rod member is located at a side of the seat assembly and laterally connected with one end of the connecting assembly, and the weight unit is connected with another end of the connecting assembly. The cushioning member is detachably sleeved to the operating rod member. When the cushioning member is sleeved to the operating rod member, the cushioning member is configured to be abutted against legs of a trainer; when the cushioning member is removed from the operating rod member, the operating rod member is configured to be gripped by the trainer.

1 . An exercise device, including:
a base, having a seat assembly disposed thereon; a weight unit, disposed on the base, including at least one weight block; and an operating unit, including a connecting assembly, an operating rod member and a cushioning member, the operating rod member located at a side of the seat assembly and laterally connected with one end of the connecting assembly, the weight unit connected with another end of the connecting assembly, the cushioning member detachably sleeved to the operating rod member; wherein when the cushioning member is sleeved to the operating rod member, the cushioning member is configured to be abutted against legs of a trainer; when the cushioning member is removed from the operating rod member, the operating rod member is configured to be gripped by the trainer.
2 . The exercise device of claim 1 , wherein a diametrical dimension of the operating rod member is between 10 mm and 70 mm.
3 . The exercise device of claim 1 , wherein an outer circumferential surface of the operating rod member has a plurality of ribs spacedly disposed thereon.
4 . The exercise device of claim 1 , wherein the connecting assembly includes a first rod and a second rod, the first rod is co-rotatable and connected with the weight unit, the second rod is rotatably connected with the first rod and is rotatable about a first rotational axis, and the operating rod member is connected with the second rod.
5 . The exercise device of claim 4 , wherein the operating unit further includes a first positioning mechanism disposed between the first rod and the second rod, the second rod is positionable between a first position and a second position relative to the first rod by the first positioning mechanism; when the second rod is in the first position, the operating rod member is located below a seat portion of the seat assembly and configured to be operated by legs of the trainer; when the second rod is in the second position, the operating rod member is located above the seat portion and configured to be operated by hands of the trainer.
6 . The exercise device of claim 5 , wherein the operating rod member is rotatably connected with the second rod and is rotatable about a second rotational axis, and the operating unit further includes a second positioning mechanism disposed between the second rod and the operating rod member.

The exercise device of claim 1 , further including a pressing mechanism, wherein the pressing mechanism includes a pressing rod, a first engaging portion and a second engaging portion, the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion are located at two different sides of the seat assembly, the pressing rod is removably assembled to on one of the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion; when the pressing rod is assembled to the first engaging portion, an abutting portion of the pressing rod is parallel to the operating rod member and configured for the trainer to abut against.

The exercise device of claim 1 , wherein the base includes a front rod, a rear rod and a connecting rod connected between the front rod and the rear rod, the seat assembly is disposed on the connecting rod, the front rod has an upright rod disposed thereon and being misaligned with the connecting rod, and the weight unit and the operating unit are disposed on the upright rod.
9 . The exercise device of claim 8 , wherein the base further includes a supporting rod and a reinforcing rod which are disposed on the connecting rod, the seat assembly is disposed on the supporting rod, and the reinforcing rod extends arcuately and is connected between the upright rod and the supporting rod.

The exercise device of claim 1 , wherein the operating unit further includes at least one sleeve member, each of the at least one sleeve member includes a gripped portion configured to be gripped by the trainer and a sleeving portion connected with the gripped portion, and the sleeving portion is sleeved to the operating rod member.
11 . The exercise device of claim 10 , wherein the operating rod member has at least one groove disposed thereon, and the at least one sleeve member is engageable within the at least one groove.

The exercise device of claim 6 , wherein a diametrical dimension of the operating rod member is between 25 mm and 50 mm; an outer circumferential surface of the operating rod member has a plurality of ribs spacedly disposed thereon; the operating rod member includes a first extension section and a second extension section connected with the first extension section, the first extension section extends in a direction parallel to the second rotational axis, the second extension section is vertical to the first extension section and pivotally connected with the second rod; the first extension section has a circular cross-section profile, the second extension section has a rectangular cross-section profile; the exercise device further includes a pressing mechanism, the pressing mechanism includes a pressing rod, a first engaging portion and a second engaging portion, the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion are located at two different sides of the seat assembly, the pressing rod is removably assembled to one of the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion; when the pressing rod is assembled to the first engaging portion, an abutting portion of the pressing rod is parallel to the operating rod member and configured for the trainer to abut against; the pressing rod is adjustably assembled to the first engaging portion, and the first engaging portion is completely located below the seat portion; the base includes a front rod, a rear rod and a connecting rod connected between the front rod and the rear rod, the seat assembly is disposed on the connecting rod, the front rod has an upright rod disposed thereon and being misaligned with the connecting rod, and the weight unit and the operating unit are disposed on the upright rod; the base further includes a supporting rod and a reinforcing rod which are disposed on the connecting rod, the seat assembly is disposed on the supporting rod, and the reinforcing rod extends arcuately and is connected between the upright rod and the supporting rod; the operating unit further includes at least one sleeve member, each of the at least one sleeve member includes a gripped portion configured to be gripped by the trainer and a sleeving portion connected with the gripped portion, and the sleeving portion is sleeved to the operating rod member; the operating rod member has at least one groove disposed thereon, and the at least one sleeve member is engageable within the at least one groove; the gripped portion includes a barrel, the sleeving portion includes a belt disposed through the barrel; the first positioning mechanism includes a first positioning wheel and a first restricting assembly, the first positioning wheel is non-rotatably mounted to the first rod and includes a plurality of first restricting holes arranged about the first rotational axis, the first restricting assembly is disposed on the second rod and is engageable within one of the plurality of first restricting holes; and the second positioning mechanism includes a second positioning wheel and a second restricting assembly, the second positioning wheel is non-rotatably mounted to the operating rod member and includes a plurality of second restricting holes arranged about the second rotational axis, and the second restricting assembly is disposed on the second rod and is engageable within one of the plurality of second restricting holes.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
