Backpack with active ventilation system
Abstract
An active ventilation backpack system includes a backpack body having a fan that is located adjacent to an opening on the bottom of the backpack. A central ventilation chamber is connected to the fan and includes a plurality of air vents that discharge air from the fan through a mesh panel located along the back surface of the backpack body. A neck ventilation channel and dispenser extend through an opening in the top of the backpack body. The dispenser having a plurality of air vents for discharging airflow from the fan onto a neck and head area of a user wearing the backpack. A pair of shoulder ventilation channels extend from the central chamber along the shoulder straps of the backpack body. The shoulder ventilation channels include a plurality of air vents that discharge airflow from the fan onto the shoulder and torso of a user wearing the backpack.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . An active ventilation backpack system, comprising:
a backpack body having a front surface, a back surface, a top end, a bottom end, and an interior space; a fan that is disposed along the backpack body; a ventilation chamber that is connected to the fan, said ventilation chamber functioning to receive an airflow from the fan; and a first plurality of air vents that positioned along the ventilation chamber, each of the first plurality of air vents functioning to discharge at least some of the received airflow.
2 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
a first opening positioned along the bottom end of the backpack body.
3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the fan includes an air inlet along a bottom end; and
an air outlet along a top end.
4 . The system of claim 3 , wherein the fan is positioned within the interior space of the backpack body; and
wherein the air inlet is aligned with the first opening.
5 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
a central opening that is positioned along the back surface of the backpack body; and a mesh panel that is disposed across the central opening.
6 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the ventilation chamber is positioned within the backpack body and each of the first plurality of air vents are oriented toward the mesh panel.
7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the fan comprises a battery powered fan.
8 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the fan is permanently positioned within the backpack body.
9 . The system of claim 7 , wherein the fan is removably positioned within the backpack body.
10 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising:
a neck ventilation channel that is configured to receive a the airflow from the fan.
11 . The system of claim 10 , further comprising:
a dispenser that is connected to the neck ventilation channel.
12 . The system of claim 11 , further comprising:
a second plurality of air vents that positioned along the dispenser, each of the second plurality of air vents functioning to discharge the airflow received from the fan.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
