Abstract
Malleable, double-sided adhesive strips are used for applying artificial lash clusters to natural eyelashes.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An artificial eyelash system, comprising:
a malleable, double-sided adhesive strip; a sleeve being configured to carry the adhesive strip, the adhesive strip being configured for attachment to a false eyelash, the combined adhesive strip and false eyelash being further configured for attachment proximate an eyelid.
2 . The artificial eyelash system as in claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of malleable, double-sided adhesive strips arranged in rows and columns in the sleeve.
3 . The artificial eyelash system as in claim 1 , wherein the adhesive strip is formed from petroleum resins, paraffin waxes, hydrocarbon waxes, styrene-isoprene copolymer, and pentaerythritol tetrakis.
4 . The artificial eyelash system as in claim 1 , wherein the adhesive strip includes carbon black.
5 . The artificial eyelash system as in claim 1 , wherein the adhesive strip is substantially flat in appearance.
6 . The artificial eyelash system as in claim 1 , wherein the adhesive strip defines a substantially rectangular shape in cross-section.
7 . A method of using an artificial eyelash system, the method comprising,
providing a protective sleeve; removing a carrying sheet with adhesive strips from the protective sleeve; peeling away a non-stick sheet from a desired row of strips to expose an adhesive strip; attaching a false eyelash cluster to an eyelash applicator; placing the eyelash applicator proximate the exposed adhesive strip; aligning the false eyelash cluster with the adhesive strip; pressing together the false eyelash cluster with the adhesive strip, the adhesive strip adhering thereto; placing the applicator carrying the combined false eyelash cluster and adhesive strip proximate a natural eyelash underside; and applying the combined eyelash cluster and adhesive strip to the natural eyelash underside, the adhesive strip being adhesively disposed between the eyelash cluster and the natural eyelash underside.
8 . The method as in claim 7 , wherein the false eyelash cluster defines a substantially rectangular base and the adhesive strip is substantially flat, the base and the strip being complementary to each other.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
