Hair planting apparatus

Abstract

A hair planting apparatus includes a base support mechanism that supports a base material, a hair holding mechanism that holds hair for planting on one side of the base material, and a hair planting part that knots the held hair for planting to the base material by hook needles. The hair holding mechanism includes a first gripping mechanism and a second gripping mechanism that individually grip the hair for planting, and the first gripping mechanism includes two sliding plates that slidably grip the hair for planting, an elastic body that applies gripping pressure to the two sliding plates, and a release mechanism that opens the two sliding plates to release the hair for planting.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A hair planting apparatus comprising:
 a base support mechanism configured to support a base material;
 a hair holding mechanism configured to hold hair for planting on one side of the supported base material; 
 a hair planting unit configured to knot the hair for planting held by the hair holding mechanism to the base material using a hook needle, in which 
 the hair holding mechanism includes a first gripping mechanism and a second gripping mechanism configured to individually grip the hair for planting, and 
 the first gripping mechanism comprises two sliding plates configured to slidably grip the hair for planting, an elastic body configured to apply gripping pressure to the two sliding plates, and a release mechanism configured to open the two sliding plates to release the hair for planting. 
   
     
     
         2 . The hair planting apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the release mechanism comprises an insertion plate configured to be inserted between the two sliding plates. 
     
     
         3 . The hair planting apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the insertion plate has a function of discharging the hair for planting present between the two sliding plates. 
     
     
         4 . The hair planting apparatus according to  claim 1 , further comprising a detection device configured to detect the hair for planting gripped by the two sliding plates of the first planting mechanism. 
     
     
         5 . The hair planting apparatus according to  claim 4 , further comprising a control device configured to open the two sliding plates by the release mechanism to release the hair for planting when the detection device detects the hair for planting after a hair planting operation. 
     
     
         6 . The hair planting apparatus according to  claim 5 , wherein when the detection device detects the hair for planting after the hair planting operation by the hair planting unit, the control device executes a retry of the hair planting operation. 
     
     
         7 . The hair planting apparatus according to  claim 1 , further comprising a recovery device configured to recover the hair for planting from the two sliding plates.
