Abstract

A rifle has a main body housing a shooting kinematic system and a butt having a butt body extending along a butt axis, a butt tube engaged with the main body, and a damper group. The damper group has a support device having a base and at least two arms extending parallel to the butt axis, and an abutment device engaged with the arms, extending at least partially into the butt tube, and having a radial abutment suitable for abuttingly engaging the butt tube. A hydraulic piston is engaged with a first piston end to the abutment device and with a second piston end to the support device. A spring is positioned between the base and the radial abutment. The main body transmits a pushing action to the butt tube, which pushes the radial abutment and the hydraulic piston, while the spring transmits a return action in an opposite direction.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A rifle, comprising a main body that houses a kinematic shooting system and a butt, wherein the butt comprises:
 i) a butt body extending in length along a butt axis, between a head end facing the main body and a bottom end; ii) a butt tube, engaged with the main body, extending along the butt axis and housed in the butt body; and iii) a damper group comprising:
  a support device comprising a base integrally engaged with the bottom end, and at least two arms extending parallel to the butt axis inside the butt body from the base;
  an abutment device extending at least partially into the butt tube and comprising a radial abutment suitable for abuttingly engaging the butt tube, wherein the abutment device is engaged with the at least two arms movable in an axial direction;
  a hydraulic piston engaged with the abutment device at a first piston end and with the support device at a second piston end; and
  a spring positioned between the base and the radial abutment;
   wherein the main body transmits a thrust action to the butt tube which in turn pushes the radial abutment and the hydraulic piston, while the spring transmits a return action in an opposite direction.

         2 . The rifle of claim 1 , wherein the butt tube comprises a tube cavity and the abutment device comprises an axial segment shaped complementarily to the tube cavity.

         3 . The rifle of claim 2 , wherein the main body comprises a body protrusion at least partially housed in the tube cavity on an opposite side to the damper group.

         4 . The rifle of claim 1 , wherein the butt body comprises a butt cavity and the butt tube comprises an outer section complementary to the butt cavity.

         5 . The rifle of claim 1 , wherein the at least two arms extend into the abutment device, the at least two arms comprising a retaining tooth which snap engages the abutment device, and wherein the retaining tooth comprises a sliding wall suitable for allowing a sliding into the abutment device forcing the at least two arms to bend.

         6 . The rifle of claim 5 , wherein the sliding wall is shaped with a varying inclination so that a sliding of a first initial segment is further forced compared to a sliding of a further segment.

         7 . The rifle of claim 1 , wherein the support device comprises four arms.

         8 . The rifle of claim 1 , further comprising a rod group comprising a tie-rod extending along a tie-rod axis between an end engaged with the main body and an end engaged with the butt tube.

         9 . The rifle of claim 8 , wherein the butt tube comprises an inner transverse wall engaged with the tie-rod.

         10 . The rifle of claim 8 , wherein the butt tube comprises a head member through which the tie-rod extends, and wherein the head member engages the main body identifying a relative inclination of the butt axis with respect to the main body.

         11 . The rifle of claim 1 , wherein the spring is concentric to the hydraulic piston along the butt axis.

         12 . The rifle of claim 1 , wherein the base is engaged with the bottom end by transverse fastening members, optionally the transverse fastening members being two screws.

         13 . The rifle of claim 1 , wherein the support device comprises a buttpad engaged with the base on an opposite side to that comprising the at least two arms.

         14 . The rifle of claim 1 , wherein the rifle is a semi-automatic rifle.

         15 . The rifle of claim 9 , wherein the inner transverse wall is positioned at an axial centerline of the butt tube.
