Abstract

An insulated structure for a refrigeration unit includes an outer wrapper, at least one bracket coupled to the outer wrapper and having at least one locator pin that extends outward therefrom, an inner liner, and a trim breaker coupled to and extending between the outer wrapper and the inner liner, such that the outer wrapper, the inner liner, and the trim breaker cooperate to define an interior volume for receiving insulation material therein. The trim breaker includes at least one alignment tab that defines a receiver that receives the at least one locator pin therein.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An insulated structure for a refrigeration unit, comprising:
 an outer wrapper;   a top bracket coupled to a top side of the outer wrapper, the top bracket including a first locator pin that extends outward therefrom and at least one top attachment feature upon which a hinge configured to pivotably couple the insulated structure with a cabinet of said refrigeration unit is configured to be mounted;   a bottom bracket coupled to a bottom side of the outer wrapper, the bottom bracket including a second locator pin that extends outward therefrom and at least one bottom attachment feature upon which the hinge configured to pivotably couple the insulated structure with the cabinet;   an inner liner; and   a trim breaker coupled to and extending between the outer wrapper and inner liner, such that the outer wrapper, the inner liner, and the trim breaker cooperate to define an interior volume for receiving insulation material therein, the trim breaker comprising:
 a first alignment tab that defines a first receiver that receives the first locator pin; 
 a second alignment tab that defines a second receiver that receives the second locator pin; and 
 a first reference tab adjacent to the first alignment tab and horizontally aligned with the second alignment tab configured to interfere with the second locator pin. 
   
     
     
         2 . The insulated structure of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one bottom attachment feature includes a flange. 
     
     
         3 . The insulated structure of  claim 2 , wherein the flange extends perpendicular to the bracket. 
     
     
         4 . The insulated structure of  claim 2 , wherein the flange includes a plurality of apertures. 
     
     
         5 . The insulated structure of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one bottom attachment feature includes a first bottom attachment feature proximate to a first end of the bottom bracket and a second bottom attachment feature proximate to a second end of the bottom bracket. 
     
     
         6 . The insulated structure of  claim 1 , wherein the first receiver includes a first receiver aperture and the second receiver includes a second receiver aperture. 
     
     
         7 . The insulated structure of  claim 6 , wherein the first and second receiver apertures are U-shaped. 
     
     
         8 . A structure for a refrigeration unit, comprising:
 an outer wrapper;   a top bracket coupled to a top side of the outer wrapper, the top bracket including a first locator pin that extends outward therefrom and at least one top attachment feature upon which a hinge configured to pivotably couple the insulated structure with a cabinet of said refrigeration unit is configured to be mounted;   a bottom bracket coupled to a bottom side of the outer wrapper, the bottom bracket including a second locator pin;   an inner liner; and   a trim breaker coupled to and extending between the outer wrapper and inner liner, the trim breaker comprising:
 a first alignment tab that defines a first U-shaped receiver that receives the first locator pin; 
 a second alignment tab that defines a second U-shaped receiver that receives the second locator pin; and 
 a reference tab adjacent to the first alignment tab and horizontally aligned with the second alignment tab configured to interfere with the second locator pin. 
   
     
     
         9 . The structure of  claim 8 , wherein the bottom bracket includes at least one bottom attachment feature upon which the hinge configured to pivotably couple the structure with the cabinet. 
     
     
         10 . The structure of  claim 8 , wherein the at least one bottom attachment feature includes a flange. 
     
     
         11 . The structure of  claim 10 , wherein the flange extends perpendicular to the bracket. 
     
     
         12 . The structure of  claim 10 , wherein the flange includes a plurality of apertures. 
     
     
         13 . The structure of  claim 8 , wherein the at least one bottom attachment feature includes a first bottom attachment feature and a second bottom attachment feature. 
     
     
         14 . The structure of  claim 13 , wherein the second locator pin is located at the center of the trim breaker, the first bottom attachment feature is located between the second locator pin and a first end of the bottom bracket, and the second bottom attachment feature is located between the second locator pin and a second end of the bottom bracket. 
     
     
         15 . The structure of  claim 8 , the outer wrapper, the inner liner, and the trim breaker cooperate to define an interior volume for receiving insulation material therein. 
     
     
         16 . An insulated structure for a refrigeration unit, comprising:
 an outer wrapper;   a top bracket coupled to a top side of the outer wrapper, the top bracket including a first locator pin that extends outward therefrom and at least one top attachment feature upon which a hinge configured to pivotably couple the insulated structure with a cabinet of said refrigeration unit is configured to be mounted;   a bottom bracket coupled to a bottom side of the outer wrapper, the bottom bracket including a second locator pin;   an inner liner; and   a trim breaker coupled to and extending between the outer wrapper and inner liner, the trim breaker comprising:
 a first alignment tab that defines a first receiver that receives the first locator pin; 
 a second alignment tab that defines a second receiver that receives the second locator pin; and 
 a reference tab adjacent to the first alignment tab and vertically aligned with the second alignment tab configured to interfere with the second locator pin. 
   
     
     
         17 . The insulated structure of  claim 16 , the outer wrapper, the inner liner, and the trim breaker cooperate to define an interior volume for receiving insulation material therein. 
     
     
         18 . The insulated structure of  claim 16 , wherein the bottom bracket includes at least one bottom attachment feature upon which the hinge configured to pivotably couple the insulated structure with the cabinet. 
     
     
         19 . The insulated structure of  claim 18 , wherein the at least one bottom attachment feature includes a flange that extends perpendicular to the bracket and includes a plurality of apertures. 
     
     
         20 . The insulated structure of  claim 16 , wherein the first receiver and the second receiver are U-shaped.
