Abstract

A home appliance, particularly a domestic cooling device, includes a body, a storage compartment encircled by the body for storing items, and a machine compartment separate from the storage compartment in which at least one component is provided for operating in the storage compartment. A separator wall divides the machine compartment into sub-partitions including inner spaces. A movable pushing element aids opening of a door which can move in a rotatable manner between an open position where at least partial access can be provided into the storage compartment through a front opening and a closed position where the front opening is covered. The separator wall includes a first wall part defining a pocket part at least partially receiving the opening device in the first inner space of the first sub-partition.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified

       a body defining a front opening;
       a storage compartment encircled by said body for storing items in said storage compartment;
       a door configured to move in a rotatable manner between an open position for providing at least partial access into said storage compartment through said front opening and a closed position covering said front opening;
       a machine compartment being separate from said storage compartment; and
       at least one component provided in said machine compartment for operating in said storage compartment;
       an opening device having a movable pushing element configured to aid opening of said door; and
       a separator wall configured to divide said machine compartment into first and second sub-partitions including respective inner spaces;
       said separator wall including a first wall part configured to define a pocket part at least partially receiving said opening device in said first inner space of said first sub-partition.

         2 . The home appliance according to claim 1 , wherein:
       said machine compartment has a front side disposed in a vicinity of said door, and said front side extends substantially in a width direction of the home appliance;
       a front cover at least partially covers said front side of said machine compartment;
       said movable pushing element is configured to pass through said front cover; and
       said first wall part is disposed at a side of said separator wall disposed in a vicinity of said front cover.

         3 . The home appliance according to claim 2 , wherein:
       a center axis passes through a center of said pushing element and extends substantially in a depth direction of the home appliance;
       said machine compartment has side walls extending substantially parallel to said center axis; and
       distances between said center axis and each of said side walls are equal to each other.

         4 . The home appliance according to claim 3 , wherein said first wall part includes a front part extending in the depth direction of the home appliance and a step part disposed at a side of said front part disposed remote from said front cover, said step part extending in the width direction of the home appliance.

         5 . The home appliance according to claim 4 , wherein:
       said first wall part has at least one connection hole;
       said opening device has at least one opening device connection hole corresponding to said at least one connection hole; and
       said opening device is configured to be connected to said first wall part by at least one connection element passing through said at least one connection hole and said at least one opening device connection hole.

         6 . The home appliance according to claim 1 , wherein said first wall part has a substantially L-shape.

         7 . The home appliance according to claim 3 , wherein said separator wall has a second wall part disposed remote from said front cover, said second wall part extending substantially in the depth direction of the home appliance and being formed in one-piece with said first wall part.

         8 . The home appliance according to claim 7 , which further comprises:
       an electronic component being electrically associated with said opening device and being disposed in said first inner space, said electronic component having at least one connection element;
       said second wall part having at least one connection opening; and
       at least one connection element configured to pass through said at least one connection opening for retaining said electronic component at said second wall part.

         9 . The home appliance according to claim 7 , which further comprises:
       connection units having respective guiding units;
       said second wall part including guiding elements configured to respectively hold said guiding units upon moving said separator wall substantially in the depth direction of the home appliance between said connection units.

         10 . The home appliance according to claim 1 , which further comprises:
       a base plate, said separator wall being seated on said base plate; and
       a connection bracket configured to connect said base plate to a ceiling plate provided opposite said base plate;
       said first wall part including an upper connection flap configured to be connected to said connection bracket.

         11 . The home appliance according to claim 10 , wherein said connection bracket has a bracket resting wall, and said upper connection flap resting on said bracket resting wall upon said separator wall being placed in said machine compartment.
