Laundry treating apparatus

Abstract

The present invention provides a laundry treating apparatus. According to an embodiment, the laundry treating apparatus comprises a user interface (UI) part in which a UI is provided and which comprises a screen on which an image is output, wherein, while laundry treatment is being executed, the screen may have output thereon: a first page on which a plurality of pieces of information are displayed, the plurality of pieces of information being associated with settings and/or the treatment of the laundry treating apparatus; or a second page on which at least one of the plurality of pieces of information is not displayed, and during the treatment, the screen output is changed from the first page to the second page.

1 . A laundry treating apparatus, comprising:
 a user interface (UI) part comprising a screen configured to output an image displaying a UI,   wherein, during execution of laundry treatment by the apparatus, the image on the screen switches from a first page to a second page different from the first page,   wherein the first page displays a plurality of pieces of information related to the laundry treatment, and   wherein the second page displays only a portion of the plurality of pieces of information.   
     
     
         2 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of pieces of information comprises a remaining time until the laundry treatment is completed,
 wherein the remaining time is displayed on the first page and the second page, and   wherein the remaining time displayed on the second page is shown in a larger size than on the first page.   
     
     
         3 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of pieces of information comprises treatment options set for the laundry treatment,
 wherein the treatment options are displayed on the first page but are not displayed on the second page.   
     
     
         4 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein, based on no user input being received for a preset time while the first page is being output, the screen outputs the second page. 
     
     
         5 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 4 , wherein, based on a user input being received while the second page is being output, the screen outputs the first page. 
     
     
         6 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of pieces of information comprises at least one of:
 cycle information related to the laundry treatment;   set treatment option information;   communication connection status information;   remote control setting information;   door lock status information;   drying preparation setting information;   turbo shot setting information;   steam setting information;   ironing notification setting information;   wrinkle prevention setting information; and   reservation setting information.   
     
     
         7 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein, based on an error occurring in the apparatus, the screen outputs an error pop-up comprising at least one of an error title or an error resolution guide,
 wherein, based on no additional error occurring for a preset time or longer after the error pop-up is output, the screen outputs the first page or the second page,   wherein the error title is displayed in a larger size than the error pop-up on the first page or the second page.   
     
     
         8 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein, based on an error occurring in the apparatus while the second page is being output, the screen outputs an error page having an error title displayed on the second page. 
     
     
         9 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 8 , wherein the error title is displayed in a first size on the error page,
 wherein, based on a user input being received while the error page is being output, the screen outputs an error pop-up displaying the error title and an error resolution guide, the error resolution guide being a user guide for resolving the error,   wherein the error title in the error pop-up is displayed in a second size smaller than the first size.   
     
     
         10 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , the apparatus providing a reservation function causing the laundry treatment to be completed at a preset time,
 wherein the plurality of pieces of information comprises a remaining time until the laundry treatment is completed,   wherein the remaining time is displayed on the first page and the second page,   wherein the remaining time displayed on the second page is shown in a larger size than on the first page,   wherein, during execution of the reservation function, the image on the screen switches from the first page to the second page.   
     
     
         11 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a first treatment apparatus comprising a first drum configured to accommodate laundry therein; and   a second treatment apparatus comprising a second drum configured to accommodate laundry therein.   
     
     
         12 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 11 , wherein the laundry treatment is executable by each of the first treatment apparatus and the second treatment apparatus. 
     
     
         13 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 12 , wherein, based on only one of the first treatment apparatus and the second treatment apparatus executing the laundry treatment, the information displayed on the first page and the second page corresponds to the laundry treatment being executed by the one of the first treatment apparatus and the second treatment apparatus. 
     
     
         14 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a first treatment apparatus comprising a first drum configured to accommodate laundry therein; and   a second treatment apparatus comprising a second drum configured to accommodate laundry therein,   wherein, based on the laundry treatment being executing by each of the first treatment apparatus and the second treatment apparatus, the screen outputs a third page displaying a first remaining time until the laundry treatment by the first treatment apparatus is completed and a second remaining time until the laundry treatment by the second treatment apparatus is completed.   
     
     
         15 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 14 , wherein, based on one of the first treatment apparatus and the second treatment apparatus starting executing the laundry treatment while the other one is executing the laundry treatment, the screen outputs the third page after a preset time elapses during the output of the first page or the second page. 
     
     
         16 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 14 , wherein the third page comprises:
 a first area displaying the first remaining time; and   a second area displaying the second remaining time, the second area being different from the first area.   
     
     
         17 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 16 , wherein the first area corresponds to an upper area of the third page,
 wherein the second area corresponds to a lower area of the third page.   
     
     
         18 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 14 , wherein the UI part further comprises:
 a first input part configured to receive a user input to execute or pause the laundry treatment of the first treatment apparatus; and   a second input part configured to receive a user input to execute or pause the laundry treatment of the second treatment apparatus,   wherein, based on the input being received through the first input part or the second input part with the third page being output, the image on the screen switches from the third page to the first page,   wherein the plurality of information displayed on the first page output by switching from the third page upon receiving the input through the first input part corresponds to the laundry treatment of the first treatment apparatus,   wherein the plurality of information displayed on the first page output by switching from the third page upon receiving the input through the second input part corresponds to the laundry treatment of the second treatment apparatus.   
     
     
         19 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 14 , wherein, based on the laundry treatment of one of the first treatment apparatus and the second treatment apparatus being completed earlier than the laundry treatment of the other one while the third page is output on the screen, the screen outputs the first page indicating completion information related to the one of the first treatment apparatus and the second treatment apparatus.
