Abstract

A fastening device for fastening a grinding and/or polishing disc to a tool holder of an electric tool, in particular a tool holder of an angle grinder, has at least one carrier plate for holding and/or supporting the grinding and/or polishing disc, and has a through-hole, and further has a tensioning sleeve for insertion into the through-hole and for establishing a frictional connection between the grinding and/or polishing disc and the carrier plate. The fastening device also has at least one intermediate element for disposal between the tensioning sleeve and the grinding and/or polishing disc to reinforce the frictional connection.

1 . A fastening device for attaching a grinding and/or polishing disc to a tool holder of a power tool, comprising:
 at least one carrier plate configured to hold and/or support the grinding and/or polishing disc, the at least one carrier plate defining a through-hole,   a tensioning sleeve configured to (i) be inserted into the through-hole, and (ii) produce a frictional connection between the grinding and/or polishing disc and the at least one carrier plate; and   at least one intermediate element configured to be disposed between the tensioning sleeve and the grinding and/or polishing disc for reinforcing the frictional connection.   
     
     
         2 . The fastening device of  claim 1 , wherein the tensioning sleeve has an interface configured to form a tool-free positive locking connection with the tool holder. 
     
     
         3 . The fastening device of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one intermediate element is annular and surrounds the tensioning sleeve. 
     
     
         4 . The fastening device of  claim 1 , wherein the at least one intermediate element is formed from a deformable material. 
     
     
         5 . The fastening device of  claim 4 , wherein the at least one intermediate element is formed of rubber or a rubber-like material. 
     
     
         6 . The fastening device of  claim 1 , wherein:
 the at least one intermediate element has a first contact surface,   the at least one carrier plate has a second contact surface, and   the first contact surface and the second contact surface are configured collectively to clamp the grinding and/or polishing disc therebetween.   
     
     
         7 . The fastening device of  claim 6 , wherein:
 the first contact surface has a first cone,   the second contact surface has a second cone, and   the first cone and the second cone are configured to be complementary to one other.   
     
     
         8 . The fastening device of  claim 7 , wherein the tensioning sleeve comprises a radial protrusion at an external end which is configured to transfer a holding force from the tensioning sleeve to the at least one intermediate element and/or the grinding and/or polishing disc. 
     
     
         9 . The fastening device of  claim 8 , wherein:
 the radial protrusion has a third cone, and   the first cone and the third cone are configured to be complementary to one another.   
     
     
         10 . The fastening device of  claim 9 , wherein the first cone and the second cone are each configured to be steeper than the third cone. 
     
     
         11 . A power tool comprising a fastening device according to  claim 1 . 
     
     
         12 . The fastening device of  claim 1 , wherein the power tool is an angle grinder.
