Claims

Abstract

A grout float having at least two sections controlled by the fingers of a user. The two sections are connected to a wearable portion, preferably a glove. The two sections are independently controlled by two sets of fingers of the user. Compared to the prior art, the grout float allows greater versatility of the user to manipulate grout and the finishing of the grout on a surface.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A wearable grout float, comprising:
 a wearable portion;   a grouting surface at least partially attached to the wearable portion;   wherein the wearable portion is configured to accommodate a hand of a user of the wearable grout float.   
     
     
         2 . The wearable grout float of  claim 1 , wherein:
 the grouting surface comprising a first extension member.   
     
     
         3 . The wearable grout float of  claim 2 , wherein:
 the grouting surface comprising a second extension member.   
     
     
         4 . The wearable grout float of  claim 3 , wherein:
 the first extension member is attached to a first connecting member of the wearable portion.   
     
     
         5 . The wearable grout float of  claim 4 , wherein:
 the second extension member is attached to a second connecting member of the wearable portion.   
     
     
         6 . The wearable grout float of  claim 5 , wherein:
 the first connecting member is configured to accommodate at least one finger of the user.   
     
     
         7 . The wearable grout float of  claim 6 , wherein:
 the second connecting member is configured to accommodate at least a second finger of the user.   
     
     
         8 . The wearable grout float of  claim 7 , wherein:
 the first extension member has a bottom and a first side.   
     
     
         9 . The wearable grout float of  claim 8 , wherein:
 the second extension member has a bottom and a first side.   
     
     
         10 . The wearable grout float of  claim 9 , wherein:
 the bottom and first side of the first extension member form a first leading edge.   
     
     
         11 . The wearable grout float of  claim 10 , wherein:
 the bottom and first side of the second extension member form a second leading edge.   
     
     
         12 . The wearable grout float of  claim 11 , wherein:
 the first extension member has a second side.   
     
     
         13 . The wearable grout float of  claim 12 , wherein:
 the bottom and second side of the first extension member form a first trailing edge.   
     
     
         14 . The wearable grout float of  claim 13 , wherein:
 the second extension member has a second side.   
     
     
         15 . The wearable grout float of  claims 14 , wherein:
 the bottom and second side of the second extension member form a second trailing edge.   
     
     
         16 . A wearable grout float, comprising:
 a wearable portion;   a grouting surface at least partially attached to the wearable portion;   wherein the wearable portion is configured to accommodate a hand of a user of the wearable grout float;   the grouting surface comprising a first extension member;   the grouting surface comprising a second extension member;   the first extension member is attached to a first connecting member of the wearable portion;   the second extension member is attached to a second connecting member of the wearable portion;   the first extension member has a bottom and a first side;   the second extension member has a bottom and a first side;   the bottom and first side of the first extension member form a first leading edge;   the bottom and first side of the second extension member form a second leading edge.   
     
     
         17 . The wearable grout float of  claim 16 , wherein:
 the first connecting member is configured to accommodate at least one finger of the user.   
     
     
         18 . The wearable grout float of  claim 17 , wherein:
 the second connecting member is configured to accommodate at least a second finger of the user.
