Abstract
An aerosol generating device is provided. The aerosol generating device includes: a pipe shaped to include an insertion space; a heater having a cylindrical shape that surrounds the insertion space; and an induction coil positioned relative to the heater and being configured to cause the heater to generate heat in accordance with current flowing through the induction coil.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An aerosol generating device comprising:
a body that is elongated; a pipe that is disposed in the body and defines an insertion space; and a heater that has a cylindrical shape surrounding the insertion space to provide heat to the insertion space, wherein the heater comprises: a heater body having a cylindrical shape that extends parallel to the pipe; a first heater bending portion bent from a first end of the heater body in a radial direction so as to be supported on the pipe; and a second heater bending portion bent from a second end of the heater body in the radial direction so as to be supported on the pipe, and wherein an air gap is formed between the heater body and the pipe, wherein the pipe comprises an inflow passage that extends in a longitudinal direction of the body and provides communication between the insertion space and an outside of the pipe, wherein the inflow passage has a diameter less than a diameter of the heater, and wherein the inflow passage comprises: a first flow passage connected to the insertion space; and a second flow passage configured to connect the first flow passage and the outside of the pipe, and wherein the first flow passage has a diameter less than a diameter of the second flow passage.

3 . (canceled)
4 . The aerosol generating device of claim 1 , further comprising a third flow passage configured to connect the second flow passage and an outside of the body,
wherein the third flow passage has a diameter less than the diameter of the second flow passage.
5 . The aerosol generating device of claim 4 , wherein the third flow passage provides a direct connection between the outside of the body and the pipe.
6 . The aerosol generating device of claim 1 , further comprising:
a first wire wound around an outer circumferential surface of the heater; a battery embedded in the body and configured to provide a current to the wire; and a controller configured to control the current supplied to the wire from the battery.
7 . The aerosol generating device of claim 1 , further comprising a sensing circuit that is disposed adjacent to the first heater bending portion and surrounds the insertion space, the sensing circuit being electrically connected to a second wire.
8 . The aerosol generating device of claim 1 , further comprising a cap configured to connect the insertion space to an outside of the body, the cap defining an insertion hole that is connected to one end of the pipe,
wherein the cap has a cylindrical shape and has an inner diameter that corresponds to an inner diameter of the heater.
9 . The aerosol generating device of claim 8 , wherein the inner diameter of the cap is equal to the inner diameter of the heater, such that an inner circumferential surface of the cap and an inner circumferential surface of the heater are aligned in parallel.
10 . The aerosol generating device of claim 9 , wherein the first heater bending portion has an outer diameter greater than the inner diameter of the cap.
11 . The aerosol generating device of claim 10 , wherein the second heater bending portion has an outer diameter that corresponds to the outer diameter of the first heater bending portion.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
