Abstract
A stackable burial tower configured to store cremated remains is provided. The stackable burial tower includes a base member and a plurality of intermediate blocks. Each of the plurality of intermediate blocks is configured to stack on the base member or on each other thereby, in combination with the base member, forming a tower. A spinal structure extends from the base member through the plurality of intermediate blocks and a plurality of chamber vessels are configured to store cremated remains, each of the plurality of chamber vessels positioned within one of the plurality of intermediate blocks.

1 . A stackable burial tower configured to store cremated remains, comprising:
a base member; a plurality of intermediate blocks, each intermediate block configured to stack on the base member or on another intermediate block to form a tower including the base member and the plurality of intermediate blocks, each intermediate block including a block cavity; a spinal structure extending from the base member through the plurality of intermediate blocks via each block cavity; and a plurality of chamber vessels configured to store cremated remains, each chamber vessel configured to be positioned within one of the intermediate blocks.
2 . The stackable burial tower of claim 1 , wherein the base member is formed of a granite-based material.
3 . The stackable burial tower of claim 1 , wherein the base member includes a base cavity configured to receive a base sleeve.
4 . The stackable burial tower of claim 3 , wherein the base sleeve includes sleeve threads on an inner surface.
5 . The stackable burial tower of claim 1 , wherein each intermediate block has a rectangular cross section that is smaller than a rectangular cross section of the base member.
6 . The stackable burial tower of claim 1 , wherein each intermediate block is formed of granite-based material.
7 . The stackable burial tower of claim 1 , wherein each intermediate block includes a block cavity that extends from an upper face to a lower face.
8 . The stackable burial tower of claim 3 , wherein the spinal structure includes a plurality of housing chambers.
9 . The stackable burial tower of claim 8 , wherein a first housing chamber of the plurality of housing chambers is attached to the base sleeve.
10 . The stackable burial tower of claim 9 , wherein the first housing chamber is attached to the base sleeve with a mating thread arrangement.
11 . The stackable burial tower of claim 10 , wherein the plurality of housing chambers includes a plurality of successive housing chambers attached to each other in an end-to-end arrangement.
12 . The stackable burial tower of claim 1 , further comprising a cap block configured to be seated on an uppermost intermediate block when the base member and the plurality of intermediate blocks form the tower.
13 . The stackable burial tower of claim 1 , wherein each chamber vessel includes a circumferential wall defining a chamber vessel cavity configured to receive cremated remains.
14 . The stackable burial tower of claim 13 , wherein each chamber vessel includes a first cap configured to seat against an upper rim and a second cap configured to seat against a lower rim.
15 . The stackable burial tower of claim 14 , wherein the first cap includes a first portion extending from a lid portion.
16 . The stackable burial tower of claim 1 , wherein at least one intermediate block includes indicia memorializing the cremated remains contained therein.
17 . The stackable burial tower of claim 1 , further comprising a decorative member seated against an upper face of a cap block and a fastener extending through the decorative member.
18 . The stackable burial tower of claim 1 , wherein the base member includes an upper face and an opposing lower face, and the base cavity extends from the upper face in a direction toward the lower face.
19 . The stackable burial tower of claim 1 , wherein the block cavity includes a circular cross-section that extends from an upper face to a lower face of the intermediate block, the block cavity configured to slidably receive a housing chamber therethrough.
20 . A stackable burial tower configured to store cremated remains, comprising:
a base member having a base cavity; a base sleeve configured to be received by the base cavity and having sleeve threads disposed on an inner surface of the base cavity; a plurality of intermediate blocks, each intermediate block configured to stack on the base member or on another intermediate block to form a tower including the base member and the plurality of intermediate blocks, each intermediate block including a block cavity extending from an upper face to a lower face; a spinal structure extending from the base member through the plurality of intermediate blocks via each block cavity and having a plurality of housing chambers, a first housing chamber of the plurality of housing chambers attached to the base sleeve via a mating thread arrangement; a plurality of chamber vessels configured to store cremated remains, each chamber vessel configured to be positioned within one of the intermediate blocks and including a first cap configured to seat against an upper rim and a second cap configured to seat against a lower rim; and a block cap configured to be seated on an uppermost intermediate block when the base member and the plurality of intermediate blocks form the tower, wherein each intermediate block has a rectangular cross section that is smaller than a rectangular cross section of the base member.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
