Double-sided decorative window shutter
Abstract
The present subject matter is directed to a plastic reversable decorative window, which can be an integrally formed hollow blow-molded panel. The front and back surfaces of the hollow blow-molded panel are respectively formed as a first window surface and a second window surface, both of which can be used as decorative window surfaces. A window frame portion and a window panel portion of a window structure are formed on both the first window surface and the second window surface. According to some embodiments, this reversable window shutter can adopt a double-layer blow molding process to simultaneously complete the formation of both panels.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A blow-molded double-sided window shutter, comprising:
a window body comprising a hollow, integrally formed blow-molded panel having a front surface and a back surface; wherein the front surface defines a first window surface and the back surface defines a second window surface, each of the first and second window surfaces being configured as a decorative window surface, wherein the first window surface is different from the second window surface; a hollow inner cavity disposed between the first window surface and the second window surface; and a window frame portion and a window panel portion formed on each of the first and second window surfaces.
2 . The blow-molded double-sided window shutter of claim 1 , wherein the hollow inner cavity defines a side surface having a thickness corresponding to a predetermined thickness of the double-sided window.
3 . The blow-molded double-sided window shutter of claim 1 , wherein:
a shape of the window frame portion on the first window surface is the different from a shape of the window frame portion on the second window surface.
4 . The blow-molded double-sided window shutter of claim 1 , wherein:
a shape of the window panel portion on the first window surface is different from a shape of the window panel portion on the second window surface.
5 . The blow-molded double-sided window shutter of claim 1 , wherein:
each of the first window surface, second window surface, and side surface comprises a decorative surface layer and a base layer.
6 . The blow-molded double-sided window shutter of claim 5 , wherein the base layer is composed of a material different from that of the decorative surface layer.
7 . The blow-molded double-sided window shutter of claim 5 , wherein:
the decorative surface layer comprises a material layer formed from new plastic material; and the base layer comprises a material layer formed from recycled plastic material.
8 . The blow-molded double-sided window shutter of claim 5 , wherein:
a thickness ratio of the decorative surface layer to the base layer is in a range from 1:5 to 1:6.
9 . The blow-molded double-sided window shutter of claim 5 , wherein:
a surface of the decorative surface layer includes a textured wood grain pattern.
10 . The blow-molded double-sided window shutter of claim 1 , wherein:
the window panel portion is configured as a flat surface or a contoured surface.
11 . The blow-molded double-sided window shutter of claim 10 , wherein:
the contoured surface of the window panel portion comprises one of a horizontal stripe structure, a vertical stripe structure, a rattan weave structure, a louvered structure, or a slant-louvered structure.
12 . The blow-molded double-sided window shutter of claim 1 , wherein:
the window body further comprises a plurality of mounting holes configured to receive fastening members for installation.
13 . A blow-molded double-sided window shutter, comprising:
a window body comprising a hollow, integrally formed blow-molded panel having a front surface and a back surface; wherein the front surface defines a first window surface and the back surface defines a second window surface, each of the first and second window surfaces being configured as a decorative window surface, wherein the first window surface is the same as the second window surface; a hollow inner cavity disposed between the first window surface and the second window surface; and a window frame portion and a window panel portion formed on each of the first and second window surfaces.
14 . The blow-molded double-sided window shutter of claim 13 , wherein the hollow inner cavity defines a side surface having a thickness corresponding to a predetermined thickness of the double-sided window.
15 . A plastic double-sided window shutter, comprising:
a window body comprising a hollow, integrally formed injection-molded panel having a front surface and a back surface; wherein the front surface defines a first window surface and the back surface defines a second window surface, each of the first and second window surfaces being configured as a decorative window surface; and a window frame portion and a window panel portion formed on each of the first and second window surfaces.
16 . The plastic double-sided window shutter of claim 15 , wherein:
a shape of the window panel portion on the first window surface is different from a shape of the window panel portion on the second window surface.
17 . The plastic double-sided window shutter of claim 15 , wherein:
each of the first window surface, second window surface, and side surface comprises a decorative surface layer and a base layer.
18 . The plastic double-sided window shutter of claim 17 , wherein the base layer is composed of a material different from that of the decorative surface layer.
19 . The plastic double-sided window shutter of claim 17 , wherein:
the decorative surface layer comprises a material layer formed from new plastic material; and the base layer comprises a material layer formed from recycled plastic material.
20 . The plastic double-sided window shutter of claim 17 , wherein the first window surface is the same as the second window surfaceJoin the waitlist — get patent alerts
