Anti-odor, Anti-blocking and Easy-to-clean Vertical-drainage Floor Drain

Abstract

The present disclosure discloses an anti-odor and anti-clogging method for a floor drain. The method involves using a vertical anti-odor, anti-blocking and easy-to-clean floor. The floor drain comprises a base, a drainage cover, and a cover plate. The base is equipped with a drainage pipe and includes a base body and a collar. A drainage channel is formed between the drainage pipe and the base body. The upper end of the base is provided with a drainage outlet. The drainage cover is detachably connected above the drainage pipe, forming a connected drainage cavity and a water inlet with the drainage pipe.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An anti-odor and anti-blocking method for a floor drain, comprising using a vertical floor drain that is anti-odor, anti-blocking and easy to clean, wherein the floor drain comprises a base, a drainage cover and a cover plate; the base is equipped with a drainage pipe and comprises a base body and a collar, and a drainage channel is formed between the drainage pipe and the base body; an upper end of the base is provided with a drainage outlet, and the drainage cover is detachably connected above the drainage pipe, forming a connected drainage cavity and a water inlet with the drainage pipe; and the cover plate is placed at the drainage outlet of the base, forming a drainage gap with the base; the method comprises the following steps of: 
 Step 1, embedding the base into the ground, and connecting the drainage pipe with a sewage pipe;    Step 2, when sewage is discharged, manually removing long hair residues remaining above a gap between the cover plate and the collar to prevent blockage of the floor drain; and   Step 3, for internal cleaning of the floor drain, firstly holding the cover plate and taking the cover plate out from the base, then holding the drainage cover and pulling the drainage cover out from the drainage pipe, and cleaning the dirt accumulated in the drainage channel to avoid the blockage of the floor drain.    
     
     
         2 . The anti-odor and anti-blocking method for a floor drain according to  claim 1 , wherein during sewage discharge, the sewage sequentially passes through the drainage gap, the drainage channel and the water inlet, and enters the drainage cavity; and the sewage in the drainage cavity then flows into the drainage pipe, and the sewage drainage pipe is discharged into the sewage pipeline.

The anti-odor and anti-blocking method for a floor drain according to  claim 2 , wherein after the sewage on the ground is drained, some sewage remains in the drainage channel and the drainage cavity, forming a water seal between the indoor and the drainage pipe to prevent odor backflow. 
     
     
         4 . The anti-odor and anti-blocking method for a floor drain according to  claim 1 , wherein during the drainage process, when a water level in the drainage cavity exceeds an upper opening of the drainage pipe, a liquid flows downward under an own gravity, creating a bell siphon effect for rapid drainage. 
     
     
         5 . The odor and clog prevention method for the floor drain according to  claim 4 , wherein an inner surface of the drainage cover is provided with spiral grooves or spiral flow channels, and flowing sewage forms a spiral water flow when passing through the spiral grooves or spiral flow channels during drainage, thereby accelerating a water flow speed.  
     
     
         6 . The odor and clog prevention method for the floor drain according to  claim 1 , wherein the step of preventing clogging further comprise reducing a flow velocity of sewage in the drainage channel, allowing solid waste in the sewage to settle within the drainage channel. 
     
     
         7 . The odor and clog prevention method for the floor drain according to  claim 6 , wherein after long hair is intercepted by the drainage gap, the long hair remains on a surface of the cover plate for subsequent manual cleaning.  
     
     
         8 . The odor and clog prevention method for the floor drain according to  claim 1 , wherein during the step of internal cleaning of the floor drain, the drainage cover and the cover plate are separately removed to achieve multi-level cleaning inside the floor drain. 
     
     
         9 . The odor and clog prevention method for the floor drain according to  claim 1 , wherein when removing the cover plate, one end of the cover plate is pressed downward by a hand, causing the other end of the to cover plate lift upward, and then the lifted end is grasped to remove the cover plate from the base.  
     
     
         10 . The odor and clog prevention method for the floor drain according to  claim 1 , wherein when embedding the base into the ground, a top of the base and an upper surface of the cover plate are made flush with a decorative layer of the floor.
