Apparatus for treating laundry

Abstract

The present disclosure provides an apparatus for treating laundry. The apparatus for treating laundry, according to one embodiment, comprises a touch screen for providing a plurality of treatment courses and outputting an image and receiving a touch input, wherein the touch screen outputs a course selection page including a course display part and a first display part, and, when the touch screen on which the course selection page is output is touched and a swipe gesture is input in a certain direction, any one treatment course from among the plurality of treatment courses is specified as a specific treatment course depending on a set order and a swipe direction, either an information indicator or an order indicator is selectively output on the first display part, and the order indicator is displayed for a set time if the specific treatment course is changed by means of the swipe.

A laundry treating apparatus comprising a touch screen configured to output an image and receive a touch input, and provided with a plurality of treatment courses, wherein the touch screen is configured to output a course selection page including a course display portion and a first display portion,
 wherein the course display portion displays a specific treatment course specified among the plurality of treatment courses,   wherein each treatment course constituting the plurality of treatment courses has a set sequence, wherein based on the touch screen where the course selection page is output is touched and a swipe gesture is input in a certain direction, one of the plurality of treatment courses is specified as the specific treatment course depending on the set sequence and the swipe direction,   wherein one of an information indicator and a sequence indicator is selectively displayed in the first display portion,   wherein the information indicator includes one or more information indicators, and is configured to indicate state information of the laundry treating apparatus or setting information of a user for the laundry treating apparatus,   wherein the sequence indicator is configured to indicate a sequence of the specific treatment course for the plurality of treatment courses, wherein based on the specific treatment course is changed by the swipe, the sequence indicator is displayed in the first display portion for a set time.   
     
     
         2 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the first display portion is disposed upward of the course display portion. 
     
     
         3 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 2 , wherein the course selection page further includes an option display portion where options provided in the specific treatment course are displayed. 
     
     
         4 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 3 , wherein the first display portion is disposed upward of the course display portion,
 wherein the option display portion is disposed downward of the course display portion.   
     
     
         5 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 3 , wherein the option display portion displays respective option names and respective option values of the plurality of options provided by the specific treatment course. 
     
     
         6 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the one or more information indicators are configured to respectively indicate one or more of communication establishment state information, remote control setting information, door lock state information, drying preparation setting information, turbo shot setting information, steam setting information, ironing reminder setting information, wrinkle prevention setting information, and reservation setting information. 
     
     
         7 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the one or more information indicators are equipped as icons respectively corresponding to the state information and the setting information. 
     
     
         8 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a first treating apparatus including a first drum configured to accommodate laundry therein; and   a second treating apparatus including a second drum configured to accommodate the laundry therein,   wherein the touch screen is configured to output a user interface (UI) for one selected from the first treating apparatus and the second treating apparatus,   wherein the information indicator includes an apparatus indicator configured to indicate the one selected from the first treating apparatus and the second treating apparatus on the touch screen.   
     
     
         9 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein in a state where a first treatment course among the plurality of treatment courses is specified as the specific treatment course,
 a second treatment course different from the first treatment course is specified as the specific treatment course based on the swipe direction is a first direction, and   a third treatment course different from the first treatment course and the second treatment course is specified as the specific treatment course based on the swipe direction is a second direction opposite to the first direction.   
     
     
         10 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the specific treatment course is changed when the swipe input starting from the course display portion is made. 
     
     
         11 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the course display portion is configured to display a course name of the specific treatment course and a course description that is a description of the specific treatment course. 
     
     
         12 . The laundry treating apparatus of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a first treating apparatus including a first front panel disposed at a front side and a first drum constructed to accommodate laundry therein;   a second treating apparatus disposed on the first treating apparatus and including a second front panel disposed at a front side and a second drum constructed to accommodate the laundry therein; and   a control panel disposed between the first front panel and the second front panel and configured to control at least one of the first treating apparatus and the second treating apparatus,   wherein the touch screen is provided on the control panel.
