Abstract

A scrubber includes: a drive assembly that includes a motor that rotates about a motor rotation axis extending in an up-down direction; a tool that faces a cleaning target and that is rotated by the motor; a guard portion that is disposed at least partially around the tool and that is to be attached to the drive assembly; and an adjustment mechanism configured to adjust a height of the guard portion with respect to the drive assembly according to an attachment position of the drive assembly with respect to the guard portion.

Claims

What is claimed is:

         1 . A scrubber comprising:
a drive assembly that includes a motor that rotates about a motor rotation axis extending in an up-down direction; a tool that faces a cleaning target and that is rotated by the motor; a guard portion that is disposed at least partially around the tool and that is to be attached to the drive assembly; and an adjustment mechanism configured to adjust a height of the guard portion with respect to the drive assembly according to an attachment position of the drive assembly with respect to the guard portion.

         2 . The scrubber according to claim 1 ,
wherein the adjustment mechanism is provided on one or both of the guard portion and the drive assembly.

         3 . The scrubber according to claim 2 ,
wherein the adjustment mechanism includes: a first adjustment portion provided on the guard portion; and a second adjustment portion provided on the drive assembly.

         4 . The scrubber according to claim 3 ,
wherein the attachment position includes an attachment position in a circumferential direction of the motor rotation axis.

         5 . The scrubber according to claim 4 ,
wherein the first adjustment portion includes: a first support surface that supports the second adjustment portion; and a second support surface disposed at a position different from that of the first support surface in the circumferential direction and having a height different from that of the first support surface.

         6 . The scrubber according to claim 5 ,
wherein the drive assembly is configured to be inserted into an opening provided in the guard portion, and the first adjustment portion is disposed around the opening.

         7 . The scrubber according to claim 3 ,
wherein the second adjustment portion includes: a first supported surface supported by the first adjustment portion; and a second supported surface disposed at a position different from that of the first supported surface in the circumferential direction of the motor rotation axis and having a height different from that of the first supported surface.

         8 . The scrubber according to claim 7 ,
wherein the drive assembly includes a hook cover that is to be inserted into an opening provided in the guard portion and that supports a hook member to be hooked on the guard portion, and the second adjustment portion is provided at an upper end of the hook cover.

         9 . The scrubber according to claim 4 ,
wherein the first adjustment portion includes: a first support surface that supports the second adjustment portion; and a second support surface disposed at a position different from that of the first support surface in the circumferential direction and disposed at a position lower than that of the first support surface, the second adjustment portion includes: a first supported surface supported by the first adjustment portion; and a second supported surface disposed at a position different from that of the first supported surface in the circumferential direction and disposed at a position higher than that of the first supported surface, the second supported surface faces the second support surface with the first supported surface being supported by the first support surface, and the second supported surface faces the first support surface with the first supported surface being supported by the second support surface.

         10 . The scrubber according to claim 1 ,
wherein the adjustment mechanism is configured to adjust a height of the guard portion to a first height and a second height.

         11 . The scrubber according to claim 10 ,
wherein the guard portion includes: a moving member which is disposed around the tool and to which a brush coming in contact with the cleaning target is attached; a cover having an opening to which the drive assembly is to be inserted; and a floating mechanism disposed between the moving member and the cover, and a difference between the first height and the second height is determined as a movable distance of the moving member in an up-down direction.

         12 . The scrubber according to claim 11 ,
wherein a difference between the first height and the second height is 5 mm or more and 9 mm or less.
