Adjustable Locking Mouthpiece for Leak-Proof drinking Bottles

Abstract

The invention discloses an adjustable locking mouthpiece for leak-proof drinking bottles designed for enhanced convenience and leak prevention. The disclosure further discloses a drinking container features a body extending from a neck to a base at the bottom, and is equipped with a cap that includes a lid assembly housing and a removable lid assembly. The lid assembly housing contains a cylindrical hole with a circumferential groove near an edge. The lid assembly features a straw with a proximal end for drinking and a distal end submerged in the container. The lid assembly includes a base member with circumferential ridge that fits securely into the circumferential groove of the lid housing by way of male-female type joint creating a leak-proof seal, ensuring that no liquid escapes even when the container is inverted.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A drinking container comprising:
 a container body extending between a neck and a base; and   a cap assembly, the cap assembly is configured to include:
 a cap; 
 a lid assembly housing in the cap comprising a cylindrical hole with an interior portion, the interior portion of the cylindrical hole is configured to have a circumferential groove; and 
 a lid assembly removably coupled to the lid assembly housing, wherein the lid assembly comprising: 
 a straw having a proximal end and a distal end; 
 a straw cover configured to cover the proximal end of the straw; and 
 a base member configured to comprise:
 an interior portion and an exterior portion, the interior portion is configured to receive the straw; 
 wherein an attachment member is connected to the base member at an anterior end of the exterior portion; and 
 the base member has a posterior end configured to have a circumference ridge at the exterior portion, wherein the lid assembly is coupled to the lid housing by means of a leak proof male female type attachment between the circumference ridge and the circumference groove. 
 
   
     
     
         2 . The drinking container of  claim 1 , wherein the lid assembly include the straw cover, base member and the attachment member made up of at least one of BPA-free plastic, silicone, rubber or any other similar material. 
     
     
         3 . The drinking container of  claim 1 , wherein the lid assembly housing having a circumferential groove made up of flexible material. 
     
     
         4 . The drinking container of  claim 1 , wherein the straw cover has an inner diameter that closely matches the diameter of the drinking straw, ensuring a proper and secure fit to close the proximal end of the straw. 
     
     
         5 . The drinking container of  claim 1 , wherein the container body includes a handle. 
     
     
         6 . The drinking container of  claim 1 , wherein the drinking container includes water bottle, water tumbler, sports bottle, shaker bottle, glass bottle etc. 
     
     
         7 . The drinking container of  claim 1 , wherein the base member is pressed downward into the lid assembly housing to lock securely preventing leakage and spillage. 
     
     
         8 . The drinking container of  claim 1 , wherein the base member is crafted from a flexible material that is easily molded and inserted into the lid assembly housing, ensuring a secure and strong seal.
