Bobble bottle

Abstract

A portable drinking bottle having a tapered cylindrical body terminating in a rounded base with a lid assembly. The rounded base is weighted in such a manner that it creates a bobble effect upon impact and will revert to the upright position which prevents spillage. The rounded base also provides a distinctive ergonomic form as well as while the lid assembly further facilitates spill-resistant drinking and ease of transport.

1 . A portable drinking container, comprising:
 a container body for holding liquid, the container body having a generally cylindrical shape tapering from a base toward a neck;   the base being rounded and weighted; and   a lid assembly removably coupled to the neck.   
     
     
         2 . The portable drinking container of  claim 1  wherein the container body comprises a thermally insulating layer. 
     
     
         3 . The portable drinking container of  claim 1  wherein the container body is comprised of a container body material and the base is comprised of a base material. 
     
     
         4 . The portable drinking container of  claim 3  wherein the rounded and weighted base is comprised of the base material with a higher density than the container body material. 
     
     
         5 . The portable drinking container of  claim 1  wherein the base is detachable from the container body for holding liquid. 
     
     
         6 . The portable drinking container of  claim 1  wherein the base is coated in silicon. 
     
     
         7 . The portable drinking container of  claim 1 , wherein the container body has a height of approximately 14 inches and a diameter of approximately 3.5 inches. 
     
     
         8 . The portable drinking container of  claim 1 , wherein the lid assembly includes a sealing valve configured to prevent leakage when in a closed position. 
     
     
         9 . The portable drinking container of  claim 1 , wherein the lid assembly includes a carrying loop integrally formed on the lid assembly. 
     
     
         10 . The portable drinking container of  claim 1 , wherein the lid assembly includes a threaded coupling configured to secure the lid assembly to the neck. 
     
     
         11 . The portable drinking container of  claim 1 , wherein the lid assembly includes a straw-type nozzle extending from the top of the lid assembly.
