Abstract
A vaporizer device includes a fuel cell disposed with a device body and configured to receive a cartridge having a first compartment that holds a vaporizable material, a second compartment that holds a fuel, a heating element, and a wicking element that can draw the vaporizable material to the heating element to be vaporized. The vaporizer cartridge is configured for fluidically, thermally, and/or electrically coupling to a vaporizer device body. Various implementations of the vaporizer cartridge are described that include one or more features for a fuel cell within the cartridge.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 .- 50 . (canceled)
51 . A vaporizer comprising:
a mouthpiece; a body; a saturated media disposed within the body configured to contain a vaporizable material; and a fuel cell stack disposed within the body and comprises fuel cells elements; wherein the saturated media is disposed at least partially between the fuel cell elements.
52 . The vaporizer of claim 51 , further comprising fuel, wherein the fuel comprises a hydrocarbon fuel.
53 . The vaporizer of claim 52 , wherein the hydrocarbon fuel comprises butane.
54 . The vaporizer of claim 51 , further comprising an air inlet configured to provide airflow to the saturated media.
55 . The vaporizer of claim 51 , further comprising a heating element disposed within the body.
56 . The vaporizer of claim 55 , wherein the heating element is a resistive heating element or a conductive heating element.
57 . The vaporizer of claim 51 , further comprising a wicking element configured to draw the vaporizable material to a heating element for vaporization.
58 . The vaporizer of claim 51 , wherein the fuel cell is a solid oxide fuel cell.
59 . The vaporizer of claim 51 , further comprises a rechargeable battery.
60 . A vaporizer comprising:
a mouthpiece; a body; a saturated media disposed within the body configured to contain a vaporizable material; a fuel cell disposed within the body; and a fuel compartment within the body and fluidly coupled to the fuel cell to deliver fuel within the fuel compartment to the fuel cell.
61 . The vaporizer of claim 60 , wherein the fuel comprises a hydrocarbon fuel.
62 . The vaporizer of claim 61 , wherein the hydrocarbon fuel comprises butane.
63 . The vaporizer of claim 60 , further comprising an air inlet configured to provide airflow to the saturated media.
64 . The vaporizer of claim 60 , further comprising a heating element disposed within the body.
65 . The vaporizer of claim 64 , wherein the heating element is a resistive heating element or a conductive heating element.
66 . The vaporizer of claim 60 , further comprising a wicking element configured to draw the vaporizable material to a heating element for vaporization.
67 . The vaporizer of claim 60 , wherein the fuel cell is a solid oxide fuel cell.
68 . The vaporizer of claim 60 , further comprises a rechargeable battery.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
