Abstract

A burner assembly includes a burner, and an injet assembly coupled to the burner. The injet assembly includes an injet frame, and a support body extending from the injet frame. The support body defines a first opening and a second opening. The injet assembly also includes an igniter configured to position within the first opening of the support body, a flame sensor configured to position within the second opening of the support body, a first clip configured to secure the igniter within the first opening of the support body, and a second clip configured to secure the flame sensor within the second opening of the support body. The first clip and the second clip are identical.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A cooktop appliance, comprising:
a panel; a controller; and a burner assembly, the burner assembly defining a vertical direction, a lateral direction, and a transverse direction, the vertical, lateral, and transverse directions being mutually perpendicular, the burner assembly comprising:
a burner disposed on the panel of the cooktop appliance; and
an injet assembly coupled to the burner beneath the panel, the injet assembly comprising,
 an injet frame,
a support body extending from the injet frame, the support body defining a first opening and a second opening,
an igniter configured to position within the first opening of the support body,
a flame sensor configured to position within the second opening of the support body,
a first clip configured to secure the igniter within the first opening of the support body, and
a second clip configured to secure the flame sensor within the second opening of the support body,
wherein the first clip and the second clip are identical.

2 . The cooktop appliance of claim 1 , wherein the igniter defines a shoulder, the shoulder configured to position adjacent a top side of the support body.

3 . The cooktop appliance of claim 2 , wherein the shoulder of the igniter defines a first diameter of the igniter.

4 . The cooktop appliance of claim 1 , wherein the flame sensor defines a shoulder, the shoulder configured to position adjacent a top side of the support body.

5 . The cooktop appliance of claim 4 , wherein the shoulder of the flame sensor defines a first diameter of the flame sensor.

6 . The cooktop appliance of claim 1 , wherein the igniter defines a groove at a specified height from a top edge of the igniter, the groove configured to receive the first clip.

7 . The cooktop appliance of claim 6 , wherein the groove of the igniter defines a second diameter of the igniter.

8 . The cooktop appliance of claim 6 , wherein the flame sensor defines a groove at a specified height from a top edge of the flame sensor, the groove configured to receive the second clip, and
wherein the top edge of the flame sensor is equal to the top edge of the igniter with respect to the vertical direction.

9 . The cooktop appliance of claim 8 , wherein the specified height from the top edge of the igniter and the specified height from a top edge of the flame sensor are different with respect to the vertical direction.

10 . The cooktop appliance of claim 8 , wherein the groove of the flame sensor defines a second diameter of the flame sensor, and wherein the second diameter of the flame sensor is equal to the second diameter of the igniter.

11 . A burner assembly defining a vertical direction, a lateral direction, and a transverse direction, the vertical, lateral, and transverse directions being mutually perpendicular, the burner assembly comprising:
a burner; and an injet assembly coupled to the burner, the injet assembly comprising,
 an injet frame,
a support body extending from the injet frame, the support body defining a first opening and a second opening,
an igniter configured to position within the first opening of the support body,
a flame sensor configured to position within the second opening of the support body,
a first clip configured to secure the igniter within the first opening of the support body, and
a second clip configured to secure the flame sensor within the second opening of the support body,
wherein the first clip and the second clip are identical.

12 . The burner assembly of claim 11 , wherein the igniter defines an shoulder, the shoulder configured to position adjacent a top side of the support body.

13 . The burner assembly of claim 12 , wherein the shoulder of the igniter defines a first diameter of the igniter.

14 . The burner assembly of claim 11 , wherein the flame sensor defines an shoulder, the shoulder configured to position adjacent a top side of the support body.

15 . The burner assembly of claim 14 , wherein the shoulder of the flame sensor defines a first diameter of the flame sensor.

16 . The burner assembly of claim 11 , wherein the igniter defines a groove at a specified height from a top edge of the igniter, the groove configured to receive the first clip.

17 . The burner assembly of claim 16 , wherein the groove of the igniter defines a second diameter of the igniter.

18 . The burner assembly of claim 16 , wherein the flame sensor defines a groove at a specified height from a top edge of the flame sensor, the groove configured to receive the second clip, and
