Customizable cosmetic palette system including customizable palettes

Abstract

A cosmetic palette assembly including a plurality of palettes for holding cosmetic products, and a main case including at least one cavity configured to hold the plurality of palettes, wherein the at least one cavity in the main case is configured to removably accommodate the plurality of palettes, the plurality of palettes includes at least a first palette and a second palette, and when the first and second palettes are removed from the main case, the first and second palettes are configured to stack with one another and to releasably attach to one another to form a separate smaller palette assembly.

1 . A cosmetic palette assembly comprising:
 a plurality of palettes for holding cosmetic products; and   a main case including at least one cavity configured to hold the plurality of palettes, wherein:   the at least one cavity in the main case is configured to removably accommodate the plurality of palettes,   the plurality of palettes includes at least a first palette and a second palette, and   when the first and second palettes are removed from the main case, the first and second palettes are configured to stack with one another and to releasably attach to one another to form a separate smaller palette assembly.   
     
     
         2 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein the plurality of palettes are configured to removably attach to the main case when the plurality of palettes are accommodated in the at least one cavity. 
     
     
         3 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein the at least one cavity of the main case is configured to accommodate at least the first and second palettes side by side. 
     
     
         4 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 1 , further comprising a main cover for the main case configured to stack with the main case and to cover the at least one cavity in the main case. 
     
     
         5 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 4 , wherein one or more of:
 (a) the main cover is configured to magnetically attach to the main case,   (b) each of the plurality of palettes is configured to magnetically attach to the main case, and   (c) each of the plurality of palettes is configured to magnetically attach to another one of the plurality of palettes when stacked.   
     
     
         6 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 5 , wherein one or more of the main cover, the main case and the plurality of palettes include one or more magnets. 
     
     
         7 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 4 , further comprising a second cover configured to releasably attach to least one of the first palette and the second palette to cover cosmetic products stored in the at least one of the first palette and the second palette. 
     
     
         8 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 7 , wherein the main cover includes a recess in a surface and wherein the recess is configured to receive the second cover. 
     
     
         9 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 8 , wherein the main cover includes a top surface and an opposing bottom surface, and wherein the recess is formed in one of the top surface and the bottom surface of the main cover. 
     
     
         10 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 7 , wherein the second cover includes a mirror formed on at least one surface thereof. 
     
     
         11 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 7 , wherein one or more of:
 (a) the main cover is configured to magnetically attach to the main case,   (b) each of the plurality of palettes is configured to magnetically attach to the main case,   (c) each of the plurality of palettes is configured to magnetically attach to another one of the plurality of palettes when stacked, and   (d) the second cover is configured to magnetically attach to each of the plurality of palettes.   
     
     
         12 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 1 , further comprising a second main case configured to stack with the main case and to releasably attach to the main case. 
     
     
         13 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 12 , wherein outer peripheries of the main case and the second case have the same size and shape. 
     
     
         14 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of palettes includes at least one well for holding a removable pan with a cosmetic product. 
     
     
         15 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 14 , wherein each of the plurality of palettes includes at least one magnet for magnetically attaching at least one removable pan to the at least one well. 
     
     
         16 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 15 , wherein each of the plurality of palettes includes at least one recess adjacent the at least one well and configured to assist in removal of the removable pan. 
     
     
         17 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein the main case includes at least one recess in a sidewall adjacent the at least one cavity to assist in removal of at least one of the plurality of palettes. 
     
     
         18 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein outer peripheries of each of the first and second palettes have the same size and shape. 
     
     
         19 . A cosmetic palette assembly comprising:
 a first main case including at least one first cavity configured to hold at least one palette;   a second main case including at least one second cavity configured to hold at least one palette and configured to stack with the first main case and to releasably attach to the first main case; and   a main cover configured to stack with the first main case or the second main case and to cover the at least one first cavity in the first main case or the at least one second cavity in the second main case,   wherein:   the main cover is configured to magnetically attach to the first main case or the second main case, and   the first main case and the second main case are configured to magnetically attach to each other.   
     
     
         20 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 19 , further comprising:
 a plurality of palettes for holding cosmetic products,   wherein:   the plurality of palettes are configured to magnetically attach to the at least one first cavity in the first main case or the at least one second cavity in the second main case, and   each one of the plurality of palettes are further configured to stack with another one of the plurality of palettes and to magnetically attach to the another one of the plurality of palettes.   
     
     
         21 . The cosmetic palette assembly in accordance with  claim 19 , further comprising a second cover configured to magnetically attach to the main cover and further configured to magnetically attach to at least one palette to cover cosmetic products held thereby. 
     
     
         22 . A cosmetic palette comprising:
 a palette base including at least one well for holding a cosmetic product; and   a cover configured to releasably attach to the palette base to cover the at least one well,   wherein the palette base houses at least one magnet therein and is configured to stack with and magnetically attach to another palette using the at least one magnet.   
     
     
         23 . The cosmetic palette in accordance with  claim 22 , wherein the cover is configured to magnetically attach to the palette base. 
     
     
         24 . The cosmetic palette in accordance with  claim 22 , wherein the cover includes a mirror formed on at least one surface thereof. 
     
     
         25 . The cosmetic palette in accordance with  claim 22 , wherein the at least one well in the palette base is configured for magnetically attaching at least one removable pan with the cosmetic product to the at least one well.
