Abstract
A retractable cigar pick device includes a main body having an internally located penetration tool with a pair of elongated spikes along a top end. The tool is biased by a compression spring located within the main body the tool is transitioned between an extended position and a retracted by a knob that extends from the tool through a side opening in the main body. A magnet is positioned along the bottom end of the main body, and the elongated spikes are constructed from a heat-resistant metal.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A cigar pick device, comprising:
an elongated, generally tubular main body having a capped bottom end, a top end, an opening along the top end, and a hollow central portion; a tool body having a bottom end, a top end, and a middle section; a pair of elongated spikes that extend outward from the top end of the tool body, wherein the tool body is positioned within the hollow central portion of the main body and is configured to transition between an extended position and a retracted position.
2 . The device of claim 1 , wherein in the retracted position the pair of elongated spikes are positioned within the hollow interior space of the main body.
3 . The device of claim 1 , wherein in the extended position the pair of elongated spikes extend out from the main body.
4 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the tool body includes a cylindrical shape having an outside diameter that is complementary to an inside diameter of the hollow central portion of the main body.
5 . The device of claim 4 , wherein the tool body is configured to slide within the hollow central portion of the main body when transitioning between the extended position and the retracted position.
6 . The device of claim 1 , further comprising:
a spring that is positioned within the main body.
7 . The device of claim 6 , wherein the spring comprises a compression spring.
8 . The device of claim 6 , wherein the spring is positioned between the bottom wall of the main body and the bottom end of the tool body.
9 . The device of claim 8 , wherein the spring is configured to bias the device in each of the extended position and the retracted position.
10 . The device of claim 1 , wherein the pair of spikes are constructed from a metallic and heat resistant material.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
