Modular picture frame
Abstract
A modular picture frame includes a frame. A back panel may be coupled to a rear of the frame. An intermediary panel may be positioned within the frame. The intermediary panel may include a first bracket, a second bracket, a third bracket, and a fourth bracket in each corner thereof. A plate, sized to fit within the frame, may include a first plate bracket, a second plate bracket, a third plate bracket, and a fourth plate bracket. The plate brackets may be positioned on a lower surface of the plate. The plate brackets may be positioned on the plate so as to mirror the bracket location on the intermediary panel. That is, the plate brackets are positioned so as to fasten to the brackets on the intermediary panel. An upper surface of the plate may be blank so as to receive paint, ink, etc.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A modular picture frame comprising:
a frame with a first side, a second side parallel to and spaced apart from the first side, a third side, and a fourth side parallel to and spaced apart from the third side; a back panel coupled to a rear of the frame; an intermediary panel positioned within the frame; and a plate positionable in the frame and removably attachable to the intermediary panel.
2 . The modular picture frame of claim 1 , wherein the back panel is flush with a lower surface of the frame.
3 . The modular picture frame of claim 1 , wherein the back panel comprises a first aperture that receives a hanging fastener.
4 . The modular picture frame of claim 3 , wherein the first aperture includes a generally circular portion with a slot extending upward therefrom.
5 . The modular picture frame of claim 1 , wherein the intermediary panel comprises one or more panel apertures.
6 . The modular picture frame of claim 5 , wherein the one or more panel apertures comprises a first panel aperture and a second panel aperture.
7 . The modular picture frame of claim 1 , wherein the intermediary panel comprises a plurality of brackets.
8 . The modular picture frame of claim 7 , wherein the plurality of brackets comprises a first bracket, a second bracket, a third bracket, and a fourth bracket.
9 . The modular picture frame of claim 8 , wherein the first bracket comprises a first recessed portion, the second bracket comprises a second recessed portion, the third bracket comprises a third recessed portion, and the fourth bracket comprises a fourth recessed portion.
10 . The modular picture frame of claim 7 , wherein the plurality of brackets each comprise a fastener.
11 . The modular picture frame of claim 10 , wherein the fastener comprises magnets.
12 . The modular picture frame of claim 7 , wherein the plurality of brackets couples to the intermediary panel via couplers or adhesives.
13 . The modular picture frame of claim 1 , wherein the plate comprises a plurality of plate brackets.
14 . The modular picture frame of claim 13 , wherein the plate brackets comprise a first plate bracket, a second plate bracket, a third plate bracket, and a fourth plate bracket.
15 . A modular picture frame comprising:
a frame with a first side, a second side parallel to and spaced apart from the first side, a third side, and a fourth side parallel to and spaced apart from the third side; a back panel coupled to a rear of the frame via fasteners; an intermediary panel positioned within the frame, the intermediary frame comprises a first panel aperture, a second panel aperture, and a plurality of brackets coupled thereto; and a plate positionable in the frame and removably attachable to the intermediary panel via the plurality of brackets.
16 . The modular picture frame of claim 15 , wherein a gap is positioned between an inner side of the frame and an outer edge of the plate.
17 . The modular picture frame of claim 15 , wherein the plurality of brackets each comprise apertures, recessed portions, and fasteners positioned in the recessed portions.
18 . The modular picture frame of claim 15 , further comprising a plurality of plate brackets coupled to a lower surface of the plate that interact with the plurality of brackets on the intermediary panel.
19 . The modular picture frame of claim 18 , wherein the plurality of plate brackets comprise bracket apertures.
20 . A modular picture frame comprising:
a frame with a first side, a second side parallel to and spaced apart from the first side, a third side, and a fourth side parallel to and spaced apart from the third side; a back panel coupled to a rear of the frame via fasteners, the back panel comprising a first aperture that receives a hanging fastener, the first aperture comprising a generally circular portion and a slot; an intermediary panel positioned within the frame, the intermediary frame comprises a first panel aperture, a second panel aperture, and a plurality of brackets coupled thereto, wherein the plurality of brackets each comprise magnets; and a plate positionable in the frame and removably attachable to the intermediary panel, the plate comprising a plurality of plate brackets that couple to magnets on the plurality of brackets on the intermediary panel.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
