Abstract

A dual occupancy automated rocker assembly for comforting and entertaining at least two children includes a base, which is positionable on a substantially horizontal surface. A frame is engaged to and extends from the base. A seating module is pivotally engaged to the frame. At least two children can be positioned in the seating module so that the children are engaged to the seating module. A power module is engaged to the frame or the base. A motor is engaged to the frame and is operationally engaged to the power module and the seating module. The power module can selectively power the motor to rock the seating module to comfort the children.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A dual occupancy automated rocker assembly comprising:
 a base configured for positioning on a substantially horizontal surface;   a frame engaged to and extending from the base;   a seating module pivotally engaged to the frame, the seating module being configured for positioning of at least two children, such that the children are engaged to the seating module;   a power module engaged to the frame or the base; and   a motor engaged to the frame, the motor being operationally engaged to the power module and the seating module, such that the power module is enabled for selectively powering the motor for rocking the seating module for comforting the children.   
     
     
         2 . The dual occupancy automated rocker assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the frame comprises:
 a pair of arms, each arm being engaged to and extending from a respective opposed edge of the base; and   a crossbeam engaged to and extending between the arms distal from the base.   
     
     
         3 . The dual occupancy automated rocker assembly of  claim 1 , wherein the seating module is configured for positioning of two children. 
     
     
         4 . The dual occupancy automated rocker assembly of  claim 3 , wherein the seating module comprises:
 a shell having an open face, wherein the open face is configured for insertion of the children into the shell, an inner surface of the shell being padded;   a pair of headrests engaged to the shell;   a pair of seats engaged to the shell, such that each seat is aligned with an associated headrest; and   a pair of harnesses engaged to the shell, each harness being configured for engaging a respective child, such that the child is engaged to the shell with a head of the child positioned upon an associated headrest and with an associated seat positioned between legs of the child.   
     
     
         5 . The dual occupancy automated rocker assembly of  claim 4 , wherein the shell is heart shaped. 
     
     
         6 . The dual occupancy automated rocker assembly of  claim 1 , wherein:
 the power module comprises a battery, the battery being rechargeable; and   the motor operates on direct current, such that the motor generates an electrical current upon manual rocking of the seating module for charging the battery.   
     
     
         7 . The dual occupancy automated rocker assembly of  claim 1 , further including a housing engaged to an upper end of the frame distal from the base, the power module being positioned in an interior space defined by the housing. 
     
     
         8 . The dual occupancy automated rocker assembly of  claim 7 , further including:
 a mobile rotationally engaged to a lower facet of the housing; and   a rotator engaged to the housing and positioned in the interior space, the rotator being operationally engaged to the power module and the mobile, such that the power module is enabled for selectively powering the rotator for rotating the mobile for entertaining the children positioned in the shell.   
     
     
         9 . The dual occupancy automated rocker assembly of  claim 7 , further including a plurality of bulbs engaged to the housing and operationally engaged to the power module, such that the power module is enabled for selectively powering the bulbs for entertaining the children positioned in the shell. 
     
     
         10 . The dual occupancy automated rocker assembly of  claim 7 , further including:
 a data storage module engaged to the housing, positioned in the interior space, and operationally engaged to the power module;   a plurality of audio files positioned on the data storage module; and   a speaker engaged to the housing and operationally engaged to the power module, such that the power module is enabled for selectively powering the data storage module and the speaker for broadcasting a respective audio file for entertaining the children positioned in the shell.   
     
     
         11 . The dual occupancy automated rocker assembly of  claim 7 , further including:
 a mobile rotationally engaged to a lower facet of the housing;   a rotator engaged to the housing and positioned in the interior space, the rotator being operationally engaged to the power module and the mobile, such that the power module is enabled for selectively powering the rotator for rotating the mobile for entertaining the children positioned in the shell,   a plurality of bulbs engaged to the housing and operationally engaged to the power module, such that the power module is enabled for selectively powering the bulbs for entertaining the children positioned in the shell,   a data storage module engaged to the housing, positioned in the interior space, and operationally engaged to the power module;   a plurality of audio files positioned on the data storage module;   a speaker engaged to the housing and operationally engaged to the power module, such that the power module is enabled for selectively powering the data storage module and the speaker for broadcasting a respective audio file for entertaining the children positioned in the shell; and   a controller engaged to the housing, the controller being operationally engaged to the battery, the motor, the rotator, the plurality of bulbs, the data storage module, and the speaker, wherein the controller is configured for selectively actuating the motor for rocking the seating module, the rotator for rotating the mobile, the bulbs for illuminating, and the data storage module and the speaker for playing a respective audio file.   
     
     
         12 . The dual occupancy automated rocker assembly of  claim 11 , wherein the controller comprises:
 a power switch operationally engaged to the power module;   a first switch operationally engaged to the motor, wherein the first switch is configured for switching for actuating the motor and for controlling a rate of rocking of the seating module;   a second switch operationally engaged to the rotator, wherein the second switch is configured for switching for actuating the rotator for rotating the mobile,   a third switch operationally engaged to the plurality of bulbs, wherein the third switch is configured for switching for powering the bulbs; and   a fourth switch operationally engaged to the data storage module and the speaker, wherein the fourth switch is configured for switching for actuating the data storage module and the speaker for playing the respective audio file.   
     
     
         13 . A dual occupancy automated rocker assembly comprising:
 a base configured for positioning on a substantially horizontal surface;   a frame engaged to and extending from the base, the frame comprising:
 a pair of arms, each arm being engaged to and extending from a respective opposed edge of the base, and 
 a crossbeam engaged to and extending between the arms distal from the base; 
   a seating module pivotally engaged to the frame, the seating module being configured for positioning of at least two children, such that the children are engaged to the seating module, the seating module being configured for positioning of two children, the seating module comprising:
 a shell having an open face, wherein the open face is configured for insertion of the children into the shell, an inner surface of the shell being padded, the shell being heart shaped, 
 a pair of headrests engaged to the shell, 
 a pair of seats engaged to the shell, such that each seat is aligned with an associated headrest, and 
 a pair of harnesses engaged to the shell, each harness being configured for engaging a respective child, such that the child is engaged to the shell with a head of the child positioned upon an associated headrest and with an associated seat positioned between legs of the child; 
   a power module engaged to the frame or the base, the power module comprising a battery, the battery being rechargeable;   a motor engaged to the frame, the motor being operationally engaged to the power module and the seating module, such that the power module is enabled for selectively powering the motor for rocking the seating module for comforting the children, the motor operating on direct current, such that the motor generates an electrical current upon manual rocking of the seating module for charging the battery;   a housing engaged to an upper end of the frame distal from the base, the power module being positioned in an interior space defined by the housing;   a mobile rotationally engaged to a lower facet of the housing;   a rotator engaged to the housing and positioned in the interior space, the rotator being operationally engaged to the power module and the mobile, such that the power module is enabled for selectively powering the rotator for rotating the mobile for entertaining the children positioned in the shell,   a plurality of bulbs engaged to the housing and operationally engaged to the power module, such that the power module is enabled for selectively powering the bulbs for entertaining the children positioned in the shell,   a data storage module engaged to the housing, positioned in the interior space, and operationally engaged to the power module;   a plurality of audio files positioned on the data storage module;   a speaker engaged to the housing and operationally engaged to the power module, such that the power module is enabled for selectively powering the data storage module and the speaker for broadcasting a respective audio file for entertaining the children positioned in the shell; and   a controller engaged to the housing, the controller being operationally engaged to the battery, the motor, the rotator, the plurality of bulbs, the data storage module, and the speaker, wherein the controller is configured for selectively actuating the motor for rocking the seating module, the rotator for rotating the mobile, the bulbs for illuminating, and the data storage module and the speaker for playing a respective audio file, the controller comprising:
 a power switch operationally engaged to the power module, 
 a first switch operationally engaged to the motor, wherein the first switch is configured for switching for actuating the motor and for controlling a rate of rocking of the seating module, 
 a second switch operationally engaged to the rotator, wherein the second switch is configured for switching for actuating the rotator for rotating the mobile, 
 a third switch operationally engaged to the plurality of bulbs, wherein the third switch is configured for switching for powering the bulbs, and 
 a fourth switch operationally engaged to the data storage module and the speaker, wherein the fourth switch is configured for switching for actuating the data storage module and the speaker for playing the respective audio file.
